Here are the results from the weekend that I got from Terry which came from the APBA scorer.

I am less then thrilled about the weekend. It was another tough weekend for the Crazy Eights.
The first heat I had lane 7 (out of 7 boats)....I went into the first turn fast hoping to get some decent placement out of the turn. The boat whipped around with zero warning. It was probably the most violent spin I have been in yet. I honestly thought it was going to roll on me. I have some amazing video and you can see me almost get tossed out of the seat, but managed to hang in there. I recovered and got back into the race. Every time I was in lane 2, the pump unhooked and unloaded - again with no warning. I wasnt spilling out, just coming to a complete stop waiting for it to fill back up with water. I managed to chase down 1 boat and took 6th in the first heat.
The 2nd heat was a little better. I started in lane 2 and was neck-n-neck with Ron in the CJ511 fighting for 2nd place until Mark in the CJ169 passed both of us like we were standing still leaving us to fight for 3rd place. Again, the pump unloaded in the last turn and Ron got me by a boat length putting me in 4th.
Sunday was a new day. I drew lane 2 again and got a good position coming out of the first turn. Going into turn 2, the CJ288 had come up short in the turn and gassed it as I went around him. I drove right through his roost and it was just enough water to get in the scoop and stall the motor. It took some time, but I got it restarted, but the race was over at that point. Mark in the CJ169 had some serious issues with his hull - it completely separated at the transom and was gunna go down. He beached it in an attempt to save it from going down.
Right before the last heat on Sunday I fired it up to make sure it was going to start after being hosed down. I only had 10lbs of oil pressure and it would jump up to 25lbs when i revved it up. I decided to throw in the towel rather then hurt the motor. I did not make it out for the final heat.
We ended up dead last over all for the weekend.
Thanks to Daniel and Roy for all the hard work and help this weekend.
