Vance and I got the boat dialed in today and hooked to the truck. Just have to load tools and finish the wax job on the drivers side of the boat and we are ready to go. Ron see ya at the airport and everyone else at the track!

Which truck are you towing it with?
Did you rejet the carb, tighten the bow eye, new bolts in the fenders and silicone the alum. plate in?

Its hooked to the blue pickup but I really dont know what to take! it leaks alot of oil and smokes pretty bad! But it has the camper shell to store all our crap. The pete doesnt have a tailgate but runs better minus the tranny that is

Everything on the boat is done. the trailer needs the bolts in the fenders and its done as well. We got the plugs in pauls boat yesterday and he got the oil and filter changed today. Im trying to push him to push bev to get the reg and insurance handled. Thats like pushing a brick wall.

96 in the primaries and 97 in the secondaries. Thats what vance thought the parker set up was. Is that right?

I'll call Mark tomorrow to find out about the pit situation.
In case anyone is wondering why i'm not just walking out to the driveway to check on the boat. It's a 1000 miles away in Bend Ore. The boys are going to tow the boat to the lake and i'm going to fly in for the weekend. It's nice to have friends with too many frequent flyer miles. I'm not sure how we would have done it, if it wasn't for the free flight.

OK we will get them switched. If the pits are a safe place then ill just load the pete. I trust it a bit more and its nicer to drive. Its still only has 2 seats. we have a couple days yet, we will figure it out.

Well I left Blythe yesterday about 2:30pm, made my way through the LA area had dinner with Barry and headed out to Bako.
Stayed the night in Bako headed out to San Jose, made it to San Jose had dinner with a friend, getting some sleep and should be in Washington tomorrow evening. Will be stopping along the way to see some more friend and hang out. I am having an awesome road trip.
It will be great when we all get together in Black Lake I am looking forward to having a great weekend.

We have the truck packed and fueled, boat hooked and prepped, directions printed and on the dash. just need to pack my bag toss it in the truck for the 5 hour drive. Thank god we arent in SoCal right now. We arent ballin enough to fly! We are just the monkey so Ron can fly in! haha

I'm sure i'll be exhausted, after my 3 hr. flight up there.
Leaving Ontario at 10:00, landing around 1:00.
Sure hope I can catch a nap on the plane.

Well made it to WA today saw some more friends along the way and some beautiful country.
Ron to take a nap on the plane, have cocktails before you board makes the flight go by really fast.

Well, I'm conflicted out of Saturday but after Louis called me last night and mentioned that he would buy me a steak dinner and all the Captain Morgans I can drink with his winnings he's going to earn this weekend I immediately started re-adjusting my schedule. Well we all made it to Black Lake safe and sound. Mark Moyle was the last one here so he had to buy dinner for everyone.
It was hot as hell up here today 96. Should cool of to 85 tomorrow. Suppose to be sunny so it should be some great racing.

Good to meet you and Ian today, thanks for coming by. Sure would be nice to see the UFO boat out there next year. Seems like there should be at least one boat from Washington in the race.
