Um , somebody should tell the rest of the pack to wake up.....

Its racin time :sly:

Is he running a BBC ???

They had a fair start,, that was his lead by the first turn.  Louis actually told me on the phone that he got pulled just a bit at the starting line.  It is a BBC, under 500 cu in, no head or intake port work, single carb.

Here is a photo shot by Mike Guardalabene yesterday, but just had a phone call from Louis, he won both the heat and the main again today, apparently just barely beating Lance in the main, getting in a little better turn than he did.

Barry, thanks for posting that pic.

Unofficial results as I recall them, feel free to correct me if i'm wrong.

First     - Louis
Second - Lance
Third    - Glen
Forth   - Scott
Fifth    - Ron
Really not sure on these
Sixth    - Toby  Finished first race on sat/ spun twice during the second race DNF/ didn't run on sunday
Seventh - Mark  Finished first race on sat/ broke in the sacond race/ didn't run on sunday

Terry, we missed you out there. I think everyone was looking forward to racing with and against you. You are a true gentleman and a great spokesman for the sport. A big thank you to both you and Harold for your help this weekend.

Not sure what happen to Toby's ride.
He did win the shootout on friday. Boat looked like it was on rails.
Richard was driving Louis's boat and lost a fuel pump.

Toby didn't run on Sunday because of oil pressure failure.

That is what Rodger Finny said.

We had a good time in Burley. The venue was spectacular, with grass right up to the river, organized pits, wide ramps and lots of fans. The best part of the whole deal were the kids/fans. We were signing their programs and t-shirts and they were so excited. It was cool.
Some of my wifes family live in the area and came out to watch. It was good to visit with them for a bit also. Next time we'll try to get up there a couple of days early and check out the sites.

Tony, that little power slide or actually motors dying so the back end is coming around, was caused by me getting into Scotts roost. The camera got a little bit of the roost, I got soaked and the motor took a big gulp of water and tried to crap out on me. Totally my fault.

Vance put all 4 take offs from the ramp and then put all 4 starts together at the begining of the video. Then put a mix of all 4 races.
