the sanction has been approved.....

http://apba-racing.com/internal/show_sanction.php?EditID=10854

for future reference, you can go to www.apba-racing.com and look at the calender of events. Find the event and click on it and theres a button there to open up the sanction. if its not approved, it will say so. otherwise it opens up the sanction.

Just got word that the dates were changed to 2/19 & 2/20. San diego rescue will handle the rescue operations.

Great to hear you have a coures at Havasu Landing sounds like a great time.  Is the track sheltered from winds? That lake gets real nasty when the winds come up. My dad refused to take his ocean going 20' Skipjack out when the wind came up. ( that was about 40 years ago when all there was was a campground and a ramp.)

As I understand it, the rollers off the lake come right thru.

Havasu Landing is across from Havasu City.
No dam running down the middle of the lake.

No apologies needed. After reading your post, I had to scroll up and double check the thread title.
Thought I had posted in the wrong place.  ;)
