Who's attending the season opener?

Racers?

Spectators?

Yep, This is the first race of the 2011 season.
Races are Friday and Saturday.

We are planning on being there, hopfully to race this year.
The 427 is still in the boat, we didn't even freshen it up.
Last year we just took up space after destorying our motor(496) at the turkey day practice session.

Brad, the way you're moving on that you'll have time to spare.
It's been rigged before, after the glass work it's just a matter of putting it back together.

easier said than done. seems like everytime i take a step forward, its 3 steps back. depending on too many people and it seems like the right hand doesnt know how to speak to the left. plus my resources are limited here in vegas. frustrating as all hell.

Nothing worth doing is easy...I know this..I put my time into it and would do it for you all over again...If it makes sense to you drop out and start over with a new hull. Whatever works for you..This crud about the way it looks/structural issues etc..seems like a waste..Do what your heart tells ya ;)  If you have doubts this won't play out correctly...negative energy

Just pulled the motor out of the boat to change the oil. Usually when we drop the filter its nice and clean, but this time it's black. Bearing material :banghead:. I'm bummed and dont have time to get into it right now. I have to go to the shop and spray some lacquer on some cabinets so my guys have something to do this week.
