Thanks marc ya it doesn't look so bad ass now had the paint lift and brown due to gas spill the engine is out and completly rebuilt due to a spun bearing it now sports a offy tunnel ram and ford racing valve cover. Oh and to mention i had to redo the stringers and the wood in the transom half way done with it now. But still needs paint which it no problem I painted it once already so whats one more time. Might even put some grafics on it nothing to crazy though. But it will be back to it's old glory once again.

Thanks Mike . Its a 72 . My buddy has been lookin for a spectra 20 and they have the same top . When spectra made their 20 . Howard bought one with the intent of splashing it and told the owner of spectra that . He said no problem . So as it turns out the Howard and the spectra are the exact same boat , top and bottom .The executives are in a class of there own too.

I have the Queen Mary of jets, but it works to tow all the drunk arses off the beach at the end of the day (and the chairs, and the coolers, and the....)

and it will still throw a roost... just to keep me in the "in crowd" around here.

I saw crews boat this weekend in parker and that hondo is a great looking boat. I love the deck on it with the cowl and the original gelcoat is flawless.

Funny thing is that with a larger boat, nobody suspects that it's a jet... I was able to "accidentally" roost some jackass lake licer in Havasu the other week for cutting a bit too close, he NEVER saw it coming and nearly knocked him off his block

needles to say after being yelled at twice before for coming to close (and spraying us once), he didn't do it a 3rd time.

What I've noticed with the similar Spectra boats, is that they use a little different deck, but a very similar bottom.

And I know what you mean by "family boat" than can plow water, they get their own

I thought the tops were identicle and the bottoms were diffrent
