Hows itís going boys,

Long time listener... first time caller.

Just bought my first boat sheís a 74 Tahiti little bit of a project but super excited get it in the water. Plans include new chrome steels with bullet hubcaps for the trailer, clean up wiring and trailer jack on the trailer, BBC, new seats and upholstery, new carpet, wiring, lots of polishing chrome and aluminum, buff out the aging paint and get her in the water to start making some noise. Iím sure I will have lots of questions and I think Iím in the right place to get the help.

Well enough writing Iím sure everyone wants to see the important stuff...

Welcome to SCJB.

When you have questions, ask away. Just so you know, there's a search function up at the top right (on PC).
Most topics have probably been discussed a 100 times. Just do a search from the front page.

How's the condition of the jet?

Dave

Previous owner said he had no issues. A little dark in the photos, but looking up through the grate impaler didn't look like it had excessive wear. Previous owner didn't replace it and didn't know when the last time any work was done to it. I am familiar with the search function for the forum. I have already used it many times here and found info I'm looking for.
