New Guy to Jet Boats
« on: December 04, 2011, 10:26:16 PM »
New to the forum and jet boats.   Bought my first jet boat a few months ago.   21' 2001 Eagle Pacific.  Met the previous owner in Laughlin and bought it on a whim (long story).  :screwy:

Don't know a whole lot about the boat.  Previous owner bought it new and seemingly took pretty good care of it.  But still had to improve a few things to my specs.  Rewired the trailer lights, replacing speakers.  May rewire the entire stereo, and need to replace trailer fenders.  Boat has a few little odds and ends to attend to but minor things.

A few pics.....

Chevy 454.  That's about all I know about it.  Haven't really had a lot of time to "fiddle" with the boat too much.  Got it at the end of summer and only took it out one time to a local lake.  Defitnitly NOT a lake boat.  Water gets too rough.

The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

it looks a hell of a lot deeper than my boat, and i go to lake havasu all the time.  just watch out for the afternoon winds.  plus taking waves over the bow is fun, right?

Nice float ya got there.  Hull looks about comparable to mine.. I am new to my boat as well.

I thought mine rode bad in rough water my first trip out. Then my ol lady's brother took the helm and mashed on it.  Seems to ride a lot better when you get a little more up on plane.
