78 Hallett
« on: April 03, 2009, 02:09:53 PM »
The Hallett's for sale;

78 Hallett Full Stringer boat, no rot, no soft spots, not a damn thing wrong with it structurally
Coyote Tandem Axle Trailer Matched to the boat
Interior is 2 years old, no rips, no tears, no stains
Original Gel, this boat saw a lot of suntime so the gel is less than perfect, but it's in good shape
Auto Meter Gauges
Manual Place Diverter

468 CI Chevy
10.25:1 CR
4 Bolt block, hi perf Passenger car rect port heads (ported and polished)
Erson 1.72 Roller rockers
Erson pushrod guides
Forged crank, Arias pistons & rods
Weiand Team G intake, fully polished
Holley HP950 worked over by C&J
2" Wilson Manifolds open spacer
Mallory Unilite electronic dizzy & Promaster coil
New MSD plug wires
10 Qt oil pan
Melling HV oil pump
Finned aluminum valve covers w/ K&N valve cover breathers (Moon style, no script on them)
Finned aluminum Hilborn style carb scoop (long style)
Bassett twisty headers, chrome is good, some bluing and yellowing (in great shape)
Bassett slip in mufflers, s/s water lines
Rex header water control valve

Berkeley 12JG pump Stage 1 prep by Cyclone Marine
"A" Impeller
Ramp loader
Droop Snoot

Polished Stainless round fuel tanks (11 Gal each)

Boat runs hard, last time it was GPS'ed was before a LOT of changes, at that time it ran 69 MPH with 3 adults and both tanks full of fuel, since then I added the droop, the Team G, new tune on the engine.  Haven't had a chance to GPS yet but the "assometer" tells me that it's running harder now than it did when I checked it with the GPS.

Engine tops @ 5400 RPM, according to the impeller charts floating around, that's 500 to 525 HP, you decide how much stock to put in that chart.

I don't have to sell this boat, but I've found something else that I like.  $9500

More pics on request, no you can't test drive it, well you can, with a nonrefundable deposit

Thanks
Skip

Some more pics for y'all
