Very clean bubble deck 19' for cheap
« on: September 11, 2009, 02:02:15 PM »
79 Tahiti bubble deck on a solid single axle trailer.  very clean little hull with newer carper and interior.  Fresh gauges, cables, etc.  Includes custom cover and matching bimini.   Power is a GenVI BBC 454 with 4 bolt mains, steel crank, Performer manifold, holley carb, braided lines, etc.  Pump is a Berk 12JC with ploished manual diverter.   Runs perfect and is ready for the river...  First $3500 takes it away.   I'm half tempted to pull the motor and pump,  go thru them and put them in a g-wing.   This is a smokin deal for a boat with BBC/berk power.

Took it to the river over the weekend and it ran great, pulled the kids all weekend.  No body looking for a clean little package with BBC/Berk power??? New price $3250.....    If I had half a brain I'd be pulling this thing apart and keeping the components.

Taco'd "a person or people that show up with one lake lice and a family of 50 and cram 3 people at a time on it with no disregard to boating rules or ethics. Usualy crap in toilets and throw shit paper in trash cans. Hang out at the boat ramp like its a swimming hole. Have zero insurance on anything they own and dont give two shits less about your property."

so the guy bought this boat just to pull off the place diverter? Is that a fairly common practice?

No, he bought it to use it but changed his mind, now he wants a bigger boat. He wants to keep the diverter for the next boat. But, if the price is right, he'll let it go with the boat.
