White Trash I on the block...
« on: March 27, 2011, 05:19:02 PM »
As much as I really would like to keep her, we want to consolidate the fleet and I have my eye on my dream home...So something's got to go...I am also going to sell my motor home, but more on that later.

This is a 1979 Badhaul 19' bubble deck jet...Pretty rare, but somewhat common hull design.

I will offer this boat for sale for best offer in many different forms...Would like to sell it before summer gets here so I can complete White Trash II and maybe get a chance to use it this year...The gelcoat is not perfect, but also not too bad, there are some stress cracks and scratches, but for the most part very respectable.

This boat has a lot of features simply not found in other boats out there and I think it would make an extremely competitive CJ...

I will get some pictures when the weather gives me a break, I worked 16 hours yesterday on a roof in the rain and can't do it today. (Firkken exhausted).

Some details;

Berkeley pump
blueprinted bottom
BBC
Twisty headers
Mahogany solid stringers
Newer gauges
Dual saddle tanks with gauges
new wire harness
Tandem trailer (no brakes).
Lighter lay up
Late model Place Diverter
Newer cables (all)...
Dooley stainless scoop
Dooley BBC oil pan
MSD 6Al ignition with a Pro Billet dizzy
Bimini top
Billet steering wheel

I can have this boat ready in virtually any form from a bare hull/trailer to a built runner in a short period of time....(within reason)

Let me know what your needs are. :sly:

I will not part it out. ;)

Thanks!

GT
If i get some free time tonight at work, ill play with it and post it for everyone to see.

Time to man up and yank it John!  :banghead:

OK....Have not had a lot of time to be on here lately...

Anyone looking for a bubble deck?  ;D

I just put together a fresh 454 that will be going in the boat in the next week or so..Going to take it to LASR at the end of the month for one last outing before the weather takes the big poo poo....

I will get some pictures and video of the boat in the water.

To update the parts on the boat...Add a set of stainless Borla XR-1 headers with collector mufflers and a fresh set of fiberglass buckets.

$4500 takes the package.

This will be a turn key 70MPH Jet. With a little more than 650 HP it ran a best of 84 but was a handful to drive (flighty)...That engine is NOT for sale because I don't own the whole thing..I own 75% of it (retired B class marathon motor that no longer has a class to run and be competitive).

Hit me with a PM if even a little interested.

Decided to part it...I need to build a jeep so my son and I can go fishing in the mountains this spring and summer.

I will sell the boat in virtually any form but the trailer has to go with it.

Let me know what your interested in. No reasonable offer (over $50) will be turned down.  ;)

I have a set of stainless Borla XR1 headers with mufflers, I have a set of chrome Twistie headers, no mufflers, and enough parts to build it twice.

I took some pictures and will upload them sometime in the next day or so....

Please help me try to get closer to my son....We do not have many of the same interests, but he seems to really want to go to the mountains and fish. I need to give this a try being as he is 16 years old and this may be my last chance...

Thanks fellas..BTW I have way way too much money in this boat. :screwy:

Good luck with the sell Glen   I hope you get it done, and if you don't you still have to figure out a way to spend the quality time with your son!!!! If there is a will there is a way. God only knows that I have been trying with my daughter right now, it's been hell, turn 17 and they think they are the all knowing :banghead: :banghead:

My 11 yr. old just brought home his first "F" despite his parents best efforts.  Oh and he lied about not getting the report card for 2 days.   He and I are going to have a lot of "quality time together in the next few weeks (digging a whole lot of footings and his mother's garden which suddenly just got a whole lot bigger).

Oh yah . . . somebody buy GT's boat !   It really is a smokin' deal for the money.  Easy, cheesy, show up at San Antonio, drink and boat, and then pull yourself a brand new boat home.  Now how' s that for a souvenir of your vacation?
