Anyone know the back story of this Wicked Gullwing. My cousin is looking for a boat and stumbled across this one.

If it si the same boat I think it is,   the original owner had it built to resemble the "Red Dragon"....     The Red Dragon was an 18 CP that I had built in 1999 and eventually was raced by Joe Morgan and was a bad ass boat.   The guy was bummed he missed the sale and asked me for the colors and graphics of the dragon so that he could build this boat.   As I recall, the first one didn't come out right so he rejected it and they built another one.  Not sure if this was the reject or the the second attempt.   I think the guy lost interest in the project and never put it together.

If am totally off base,  sorry to the owner,  but I believe this was the boat....   The silver pin line between the reds set the Dragon off,  and they never got it right when they tried to copy it....

River Dad, I'd buy that story all day long. And I want to make sure we're all seeing the same picture of this boat, because the pic I see is a badass boat. Probably one of the nicest gullwings on this site. Am I missing something?

I think the Dragon is still one of the baddest out there.......  There are some fast 18's out there and the Dragon was not super light, but it worked extremely well.......  Hard to imaging one running much better..............

Here is another one.........
