New to the boating world
« on: March 31, 2011, 04:40:38 PM »
Just picked up my first boat this month. She is a 1974 Tahiti Tiger 18' . Built with a 390 horse 455 and a berkley 12 j c jet. Still sporting the factory Apricot and Antique brown gel coat. For a 37 year old boat she still cleans up nice. It does however have a proble, with the jet do that will be the first project to tackle on her.

I still wanna kill my buddy for not picking those boats up! We went 2 weeks ago and checked em out, I fell in love with the tahiti but he was scared about a simple pump swap. She sure cleaned up nice! Congrats.. This site has tons of info and (some  ;) ) helpful people around. You got him to split up the 2? That was a no go when we asked.
If she wants to ride shell get in no matter what she has to sit on!!
