I have a bbf 460 with a mild cam and a holley 3410. Im bogging out at just under 4000rpm. Ill be checking the timing and trying to learn about some carb tuning but how do i know if im getting enough fuel. What fuel pumps do you guys like. Ill be looking at mine tomorrow to see what i have

Add a fuel pressure gauge inline with the fuel line. 7 psi at wide open throttle, maybe 6 psi. Anything less you need more fuel pump. A ford truck pump should be plenty.

3410, sounds like that's a truck carb. Might need to be set-up for a jet boat application. Enough primary jet, secondary metering plate or jets, and the right vacuum secondary diaphragm spring.

72 jets up front
Lightest vacuum diaphragm spring.
Still running a stock numbered power valve.
Rear metering plate is stock also.
~500 hp 454.
