Sounds crisp!!  Havent tried a Lunati in and Olds yet.  What aluminum heads are those?

What numbers are you hoping for to turn that AA?

ProComp. I bought bare and built them. The motor is projected to be in the 670hp/700lbft area. I'm doing an all day at the shop.

Best wishes to you!  Love to see olds power! wish my 442 was in that HP ballpark....  8)

It will be pretty tough to hit that number with that valve size though... Do you mind giving out the cam specs?

Is it really a 457 or is that a typo?

Nice build
My 472 stroker Olds made 586 hp at 5400rpm and 667hp at 5750rpm on the bottle..  Edelbrock heads . Offset ground crank and icon pistons . 10.75 to 1 comp .
Your 670 hp is Impressive on a N/A Olds ..

All numbers above 600 I'm calling theoretical due to Desktop dyno. With that being said, we'll see. In talks with Dick & Andy Miller (personally), dealing with people atMondello (won't do that again), and many conversations with Bill Travato, I've been assured higher numbers. We'll see. I can always throw giggle gas at it.

The headers are from Hi-Tech out of Australia, only people that make custom Olds wet manifolds. 2-1/4" primaries into 4" collector.  Damn things were ungodly expensive. The cost was around 2300.00.

I had a motor similar to this with a 400 2 stage fogger pulling around 1100 in a 76 cutlass full chassised that ran high 9's but because of my naievity broke often.

The cam profile will present itself with a little load .

It'll push an induced AAmag bronze impeller.

Now if I could find a good useable Oldsmobile DRCE, that'd be another story.
