does this look like a tall deck to anyone else? the block # says it is  a 1967 427, the head number says 1967 427 truck, marine. looking at the water pump bolt holes in relation to the head surface it looks taller than normal, and the funky balancer and front engine mount looks the same as a tall block i picked up. i know i'm new, just trying to help..

I think it may still be for sale.   I think he was referring to me when he posted SOLD.
I had to back out and buy the wife a transmission instead.   :banghead:

Barry I got all your PM's I left them unanswered because maybe you just remember oh sh't :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: Brian still waiting for the valve covers from a couple months ago that I was going to sell to him. After I had received the pics we work out a deal of $175.00 for some polished GT performance with bolt on breathers couldn't pass the deal up only had to drive 10 minutes to pick them up you said you call after you had some time to pull them off still waiting.  ;) we talked on the phone regarding the timing issue (HARMONIC BALANCER) on my motor you said just bring it by when I have a chance I'll call you so we can dial it in still waiting for that call too also about a month ago  ;) maybe we can just send each other PM's scene the phone call are not getting through ;D  I'll let you know if the motor deal doesn't work out.

I am not making up excuses , but unless you work in a busy shop you don't realize how busy it gets! It is extremely hard at times to stop what you are doing and make calls. If I stopped what I was doing and made all the calls I was supposed to make every day , nothing elese would get done!! There is not enough hours in the day to make everyone happy!

Barry your rubbing me the wrong way :o I was ready to go when we talk but you told me you had some company going over to talk motors and you didn't want your neighbors to call the POLICE cuz you had some guess over in front of your house cool totally understandable you were playing save cause you didn't want to give the landlord any problems. no worries just a lack of communication  8) talk to you soon.

Did I forget get to say thanks Barry you been very helpful  even told people you where the go to guy on building some of the badest  BBC. when you said something about the POLICE I said to myself this guy blowing me off all we needed to do was put a 36 degree mark hell much noise can we both make fuking with a balancer ;) at 630 in the evening. Barry I didn't seem to understand cuz I was told to do it a couple different ways but you cleared it up pretty good BTW you would of charge me for your time on how to mark the balancer  :screwy: holly sh't at least you said (for free) I would of been like your crazy foo 99.9 percent of the members on here will not even bring up money on something as simple as that.Where all on here cuz we share the same common interest, not just here to make a quick sale. anyways I appreciate your time on the phone.
