Was an awesome weekend. It was a smaller group which made it a bit more personable which was a nice change of pace. Weather couldn't have been better. That wraps up the 2016 Summer Tour! See you all next month at the Horsepower Fest and DVD Release Party! November 12th at the Avi!!

I spent more time videoing for the DVD than taking pictures. Only got about 40 pics. So please post up if you have any!

He hit a rock bar. Put a 4" hole in the side of the suction housing. Him and Erica are fine. The boat has been recovered and it's not in too bad of shape.

I want to sincerely thank everyone that helped in the recovery of all the seat cushions and engine cover and a lot of the contents in the Hallett.

Thanks Danny Reardon and others for getting the Hallett to the beach, you saved the boat.

Thanks to whomever recovered Erika's purse and personal belongings as well as my cell phone, it still works.

Whoever thought that I did not deserve to get my wallet, government and personal keys, debit and credit cards back and all the contents in the camera bags back, FUCK YOU.

I saw the photos of the camera bags that night, camera bags don't unzip by themselves.

I would have gladly given you the two hundred + dollars in my wallet.

I truly don't think it was anyone from SoCalJetboats that took advantage of my misfortune.

Whether they know it or not, whoever it was that stole or destroyed government property in my wallet, camera bags, there were building entry key cards as well as building keys, committed a Federal offense.

I work at Edwards AFB.

If the perp happens to read this post and they want to make amends please contact me or Brad by (PM) or whatever.

I will forgo OSI and federal prosecution if you come forward, however, if I find out who you are and I don't get restitution I will do everything to make your life miserable

I can forgive, however, even at my old age I rarely forget.  Beware.

Yours truly

Hallett Dave

Great hanging out as well, thank you for your concern.
I saw the engine run the next day.  Thanks to Gregg at Vessel Assist.  His place is 1/2 mile from our house in Mohave Valley.
I picked the boat up on 22 Oct. and it is in one of the back garages.  Rivertard and his son came over and helped me drain the tanks.
Thank you Mike and Michael.

I have been in touch with Chris @ B1 to see when he has an opening for repairs.

I'm glad I have insurance, thank you Nicki for your assistance.
Nicki can help anyone out with a good policy.

Brad, I wish I could bring my 67 GTO out to the AVI.  I commend you for your commitment.
Keep the event going and after I retire next year it will be out there.

We love you all. We will see you all next spring.

Dave and Erika
