Starting the Blue Water Picture Thread early. Circa 1970's there was a yearly event called The Blue Water Bash. A snow ski club would host an event at Blue Water LONG before a casino was ever there. Just the metal cabanas. It was basically a free weekend if you showed up with a boat and agreed to pull a few skiers around. We are talking free beer, food, gas, oil, and if there was any money left over you would end up with a check in the mail.  Here are a few pics. Keep in mind I was a little kid. My parents were awesome!!! And yes, all the people on that day cruiser are in fact naked.

That's awesome! Wish I grew up when our boats were only a few years old instead of 40. Times were better. (And bushier) 😂

At that time we had a few jets in the group. My dad had something like a 16 foot Tahiti with a 100hp wacker.

The only thing wrong with a bush was pulling the trimmings out of your teeth 👍
