Resurecting an old atlas band saw..

I remember when I was a kid and had to make a pine wood derby car. My old man would cut the profile of the car out on the band saw and I would shape the rest of the car. Last week I brought up the band saw that was hidden in a corner down in the basement. My old man says it was mid 1950's. This thing is cast iron and heavy. Over the years the base and motor have gone. So I made a cool stand for it using some scrap tubing that I bent up on my JD Squared converted to full hydraulic tubing bender. Found some C-channel and mounted the base. Also found an old motor mount. My Father in law is getting me a variable speed set up so I can cut steel, alum. and or wood. Once I get the motor I will adapt the mount to the lower part of the stand.
