threw a couple sand spikes together today.
Hole sawed 4 2" circles out of 1/4" plate
Opened the hole up to fit the round bar.
Welded a bead around the top of the round bar to keep the 1.5" tube handle from coming off.
Welded all the pieces together
did a quick shitty paint job on them
I did these with super loose tolerances. About 10 years ago I made one completely out of stainless and capped the top. It didn't work for shit cause the tolerances were too tight

no not selling them these were just for me and my dad. If I was to sell them I'd do a better job on them lol. I guess I could see what material would cost and see if it would be a worthwhile venture.

A company here in Cedar City makes something like this and sells to public. If anyone would like I can get more information.

A box anchor off the front and sand spike to hold the back if you don't beach it. If you do beach it just hit the pike in the sand and tie off

Just make sure if it's under water put a buoy or something  on it. If you kick it hurts like a bitch!
