Title: 12JG-A Berkeley Pump ?
Post by: morebass10 on July 10, 2007, 09:28:43 AM
SO I have a 12JG-A Berk Pump on my 87 Rogers....so this past weekend at Parker a piece of my grate broke off and went straight through the impeller! Not good. So the impeller is obviously damaged, but looks like the housing is ok. A new impeller is about 250, is this a DIY project, or should I leave this one to a professional? I watched the video on the Berk website which shows removal of the different pumps. It doesn't look too difficult, but thats only the removal. Any suggestions and comments would be appreciated.

I would take it to a reputable shop to have them go through it to make sure theres no other damage done to it.
