Gonna be in Vegas fo da SEMA convention Tues-Friday and on the lake the weekend prior. Never been there, I know the weather might suck, but I don't care. Been contemplating that or stayin at state line and doing cottonwood cove, or maybe just my usual Aquarius in Laughlin..  like I say never been on mead and I'd like to try it, I just don't have the fuel range to see anything. Any thoughts from those that have been on where to launch?

What kind of boat do you have? Callville is nice for early mornings runs but can get really choppy (white caps). I usually go out to echo bay. It's not as busy and the water seems always smooth out there.I

Ultra 21 ft.

Really wanna try someplace different like this, but the river has me spoiled.  Hoping I get the weekends free'd up, get the pump back, put it in and shake it down local before making the drive.

Mead is a big boat lake. It can change up quick. There are a few things to see. But I say, if you are looking for a scenic boat drive, do cottonwood. Anywhere on mead is nice to launch. Callville is close to the narrows and lends itself to the nicest scenery. Let us know if this becomes a reality. We are always up for a trip. I am 30 minutes from the lake. I also have safe parking for your boat while you are here if you want it.

I am definitely goin to Vegas, the weather forecast would have to get pretty nasty to make me leave The Git at home..  Thanks again for the storage.

Still up in the air as to where I'm going... Too far of a drive from Primm to Cotonwood, would stay at their motel or camp.

I know I definitely wanna be in a camp area so I can bring the golf cart and booze cruise with it..  gonna be going with a good buddy from the diesel club and hopefully a third person to be flag bitch.
