Called to make reservations yesterday. They jacked the rates all up since last year. Bob wasnt there to talk to but we will be trying to get ahold of him this week. Unless they come off the rates, I'm out. We may want to look into Echo Bay, I think they wanted half as much and it's just up the creek a few miles.

$99, Echobay james had the rooms down to $55 last year but no one showed cuz of that stupid river trip

Well, it was more like 15 but they were high at 85. Echobay has a much better pirate bar anyway

after all the GREAT things i heard about last years trip from them letting you guys pretty much run the place...opening up the kitchen late for you guys....cheap food/drinks....having the whole place to yourselves....why not go back again over a few bucks?

I'm shocked right now...I was waiting till after the first of the year to start promoting this! THIS EVENT WILL HAPPEN AT TEMPLE BAR!!!....not anywhere else not the river not echo bay....on the website the room you had stated $94...I will be calling bob and making it known that there will be more people then last year, and can we get a discount if he says his hands are tied then they are tied its not gonna stop me, and its not gonna turn me away from going...I was even considering doing things like shirts as a memoir and stuff like that, but I was hoping this was piped down until after the holidays....this is when I planned to talk to bob as well....if the rate change is going to change your mind then you will be missing out...heard a lot of people regret not going....I will keep everyone posted with all info after the first of the year lemme get this damn holiday over with and in turn get the shirts designed and check into the rooms

Thats just me, I havent worked since May.........2008. I have talked to one other guy and he said the same thing, four star rooms on the strip arent even going for a hundo. I may be able to come out for the day or something. Or if some of us go to Echo we could boat down one of the days. I have two boats and three other friends who were planning on comming, so thats five boats right there.

Waters a lil cold on the balls in March but we had 80's by mid afternoon!

terry why dont you get a desert view room, and pay what you paid last year

all you gotta do is walk 40 feet around the corner and get the same view you had....i dont see any sense in this getting all fired up over a couple of bucks just stay one night instead of two, but please dont discourage people away from the get together in general...that has me kinda upset, because were pretty close n shit...

everyone that was there last year didnt have one complaint cept the drive, but trust me it was well worth it by the time we got there...trust me when i say we owned the place and were very well taken care of...the room isnt 4 star but the service is 5 star....

GC the water is a little nibbly, but i think we saw 84* most of the weekend it was not bad at all the water is definately colder up there because the colorado river isnt too far above it

I dont know what else to say except i will get the ball rolling after the first of the year, and i will talk to bob next week just kind of giving it a rest because everyone is busy for the holidays

I hope to see many of you there i know not everyone can make it, but it is alot of fun...and would like to continue this for many years to come....i garuntee you we will be remembered when we come rolling into the marina yet again

I think it was 85 last year, still too much, and its gonna be more next year. I think we should check out echo, it was half the price and it's just a few miles away and the water should be warmer. Just my .02.

Hell if I can afford to make it there only, I will just crash in the truck! That way at least I will be there.
