Since the original post is mired down, I thought a roll call post was in order. Here's a cut and paste list of who's going, at this point I'm still in  Also, where is everyone staying? I'm at the Best Western Sahara in Blythe as is Brad. Not sure if momma's gonna make it or not but I'll be rolling from Bakerspit about 2 AM on Friday the 21st, staying til Monday the 24th.

Here's the list:

Marcsrollin + Jennifer
IRRebel + 2 kids
Aquaholic + 1
Alamojimmy + 1 GF and 1 Kid
Danhercules + 1
CJ222 + 1
Skip + ???
Ralph Brunt + Family
Brad + Jen + Dog
Nick + His Chick
The Beav + 1
COORS HEAVY + 1

This is for Blythe, not Mead .  There is no Cannery in Blythe :screwy:, there are 2 of them in Las Vegas though :o.

Damn, Beav is ballin' big time! The cost of gas would kill a normal man! Maybe he has a private plane lined up?

Best Western Sahara Inn,  $85 a night, I get a discount through the state but AAA is about the same price, book it.

Still haven't reserved my room. Prolly should do that tomorrow! Hopefully no more med emergencies! (Don't ask, was a wild week and weekend!)

A hundred and fifty bucks is way too much to stay in Blythe.   Keep looking IMO

I'll be there from Thursday night until Sunday morning. I might have a work thing that makes me wait until Friday to get there but, that is not solid yet.

You can check out this link for Days Inn. I stay there sometimes and it's not bad.

Typically we head north from there. We keep intending to head south to check it out and actually have once. Our natural instinct is to turn north go about 5 miles park and start drinking though.
