The weather report has worsened a little for this weekend fellas. We are going to have to deal with cooler temeratures than originally reported. Not sure how we will make it though but we must find a way:

Friday HI 93 LO 64
Saturday HI 97 LO 64
Sunday HI 98 LO 66

Oh thanks to the lord that has shone his light upon us to celebrate loud and raw horsepower, burning of fossil fuels, global warming, cool water, scantily clad women and beer..... We all musta done something right recently. C'mon Friday!

Got mine pulled around to the driveway this evening.  Made sure it fired.  Got the charger on it.

I'm in.

I've been eager to get my boat back into the water after several failed attempts. Seems that when you haven't taken it out for some time things always seem to need replacing. I was really pumped up to go to the Elsinore trip in January, but unfortunately I was sidelined with leaking fuel lines. I replaced all the fuel lines ($$$) only to discover that my fuel pump also decided to take a dump.........AHHHH our type of boats that always seem to need some type of TLC. Sometimes I wish I was more mechanically inclined so that I could figure some of the stuff out much faster (frustrating). I guess the only positive side is that it's paid off and I don't have a payment for something that doesn't work. Anyway, I'm looking forward to the trip.

Thanks guys.

I'll be leaving Friday morning just in case I run into some issues on the road. I'll also check the boards tomorrow night after work in case anyone needs anything brought out. I'd like to pitch in for the BBQ/buffet or whatever everyone is deciding to do out there for the weekend. I'm going solo and plan to either pitch a tent or just crash in the bed of my truck. Boats cleaned up and ready to go....should be since its had a lot of time to rest :-\.

Tony don't take shortcuts with this.   Take your time and make sure everything is right.   Just bring yourself down, leave the boat home it need be.  You of all people should know there will be more river trips to come.

On another note, who is gonna be passing thru Berdoo and when?  I'd like to convoy with someone as I am always paranoid about things going wrong while towing.  I can leave anytime from early Fri. to early Sat.

i am not hurring it just dont take that long to put a pump and motor in a boat. i would have had them both in yesterday but i wanted to give the silicon some time to cure before i started mounting up the motor.

more than likely i am not bringing my boat but it is possible it might go. i am not rushing i just think it might be finished. if i break in the cam in the morning all i have to do is put in the seats and the u joint and away we go.

I'm so f-n pissed . I wont be making this trip, I could cry. I have done so much work on my boat to make it but I still need one more weekend of tuning. I would just do it out there with you guys but my brother (aka efi tuner) cant make it and my girlfriend has a 102 temp rite now. I just bought a, Innovate LM-2 wide band 02 data logger today, ($570) to speed things up. Having problems logging with a laptop over 50 mph. I'm going back to the lake on sunday and hopefully get the final tune on this beast. Maybe even a few nitrous runs. I am so jealous of you guys going. have fun and be safe. Cant wait till the next meet! keep me posted as to when it will be. I'll probably go to the river next weekend and every one after that.
If you aint first your last.
