When  you turn your boat on... does it return the favor?

Me and a bunch of friends are going out this weekend to martinez. Ill be in a white blue and green open bow ultra. Anyone been out there lately? I heard the water was really high a few weeks ago and the sand bars were non existent. hopefully its come down some since

good thing about high water, you wont have to worry about getting stuck on sand bars that isnt visible from water by sun, but down side, no one to party at sandbars with. just throw anchors out and get gather!  ;)

Sounds to me like a place to become VERY unpopular with a jet boat........ :screwy:

Uhhmm.. I wouldnt know??? never been there, but I have been to fishers landing ramp and head out up the river once last year, and twice two years ago. Although when you head out north, there is other lake on left when heading north before the post where it says no water skiing.

Wow, I cant say that I ever had this fun and enjoyable weekend before. I never trusted leaving my boat hanging on the docks overnight, now I have big grin on my face. But.... 5.05 per gallon of preium fuel only at the martinez lake pump and fishers landing?!?!?! When I got into Yuma, i was happy with gas price being at 3.45 per gal for preium before heading up to the last docks at lower river, and drive boat up to Furseten Lake cabin house. $340.00 on fuel, 2 days boating PRICELESS!

We were trying to head up to paymaster landing but the jetski was running low on fuel. just right by cowbell lake. I had half tank in both 18gal tanks.. turned around and head back..
