This one is rotting away in a yard right by my house. Boat is named "Insanity". Supposedly had a blown BBC in it at one point. I almost bought this boat a few years back, but didn't have the time and money to spend on it. It's been sitting like this for at least 5 years.

Ryan, I know who owns that boat. I've looked at it a few times could pick it up for like $400 as it trailer and all but I have no where to put it and it needs some serious love!  Text me if you want the info.

Boat Showcase / Can anyone help identify this boat?
« on: April 04, 2016, 12:03:43 AM »
Looks similar to my hull it's hard to tell without pictures of the rear or anything, mines a 1970 Sleek-Craft 19'
Mind you I've never seen another one of my hulls EVER, I saw one for sale outta state a few years ago and it was a closed bow also.
You can tell it's an earlier hull I believe cause it's rounded in the rear, typically style for 1974 and earlier
Could be that it's such an early hull like mine before the HIN's were stamped on the rear, also it looks like that
"open bow" was home made or something not sure

Random Boat Parts For Sale / Trailer Refurb.
« on: August 18, 2015, 07:08:43 PM »
So I've been wanting to refurb my boat trailer for a long time just needs some good ole TLC, minor repair, small welding and paint. etc.

I have been looking for just a good trailer by itself and swap the boat over, the problem is my boat has a really really wide beam I have not found a single trailer that would fit the width of the boat and it's rather more a flat bottom then any kinda of v or even semi-v which has made it impossible to just find another good trailer and make the swap. So I'm looking for someone reasonable & Local ish who can take this on.

It can be a shop or someone that can do it as a side job.

Any recommendations would be great.

Hey, I think I'm going to order some of the headers but I'm curious what/how I should run them, with or without water, if I run without how is the best route to run the water lines to the motor and how to get it to exit the motor.

I'm ok with running them dry but going from a log set up what/how will the water line routing go.

I'm kinda leaning towards something electrical ign, coil, dizzy, bad ground, timing.

What kind of fuel pump?

Is it super smooth up until it cuts out? Or is it rough until it dies?
