It is the same pump. I had a guy here who wanted to buy it and he brought me 50 bucks to hold it. He never showed back up and I havent seen him since then. It is sitting and I had to sell my boat a while back. I had bought it to replace the drake pump that was in my eliminator.

Well, I am interested in the boat but I don't think it falls into the 9k value range does it? I mean You guys know ALOT more than I do about boats but the local Bike shop offered me 10k trade in value and I am smart enough to know that they are gonna stick me for 2-3k on whatever I buy new.

We dont run the rivers much here. At least around Austin. We run the lakes and I run mainly Lake Travis. The lake is 66 miles long and averages about a mile wide so that is ALOT of area to run. There are MANY coves that protect us from winds etc where we usually tie off and raft. Since they are mostly in between the hills the sides are steep and deep. I carry a 120ft anchor rope and usually let it all out when anchoring off.

Just curious. I am afraid to start my jet in shallow water like that. Afraid of what it might suck up. I guess our lakes here just go from shore to deep in nothing flat.

Are all of the waterways where yall boat as shallow as all of the pictures indicate? Is there no place to tie up where the water is deep or is this just a preference out west? Just curious because our tie up spots here are usually 50+ feet deep.

I am betting that you have taught him well and that when presented with a dilemma that all of your imparted wisdom will shine through. That is how it works and many times what he learned wont pop out till he is pushed into a corner and has to know it. how many times have you thought to yourself "damn Im glad  dad taught me that" I am betting on him to do just fine. He will fuck up just like all of us but what you have  taught him will overcome!
