Here are a couple I got from that weekend. Had a great time and met a lot of new people. Can't wait to make it out to another one.

When I redid the stringers in my boat. Listen to the people that know what they are doing when purchasing the wood. I bought pressure treated wood and thought it was fine. Wrong!!! Kiln dried Douglas fir. Pay the moneys. Doing stringer twice sucks. And resin is expensive. I had to buy double.

Interior / Re: To carpet or not to carpet
« on: August 26, 2016, 06:54:31 PM »
I did flow coat in my engine bay and carpet on the rest. I used loctite 300 spray on adhesive and bought my carpet at lowes. I think it was outdoor carpet it turned out pretty good. It's all in your prep and it takes some patience. Pressure wash the old glue and sand. Take your time

I have done wet sanding on my boat and a few others. I start out with 1000 grit. Add some soap to the water and do one quick pass with that. Then I go to 2000 grit and my final pass is with 3000. And then buff it. It comes out great looking like a mirror.

Thanks. I just want a cruiser. My motor is only about 650 hp so if I can get 60-65 that's fine with me.

6.4 = Navistar/International.
Best Motor in an F series ford truck says Navistar/International all over it. 7.3's are better though...

Dan'l
Jim and fordlover you guys crack me up, the changes are great lol, I agree with you the 7.3s were better but I have had my truck for a little over 3 years and it has done right by me. I was raised on fords and I will always drive a ford.

I did my carpet in my boat, I bought outdoor carpet at lows and I used locktite 300 spray on adhesive. Just take your time. I would cut a piece and then trim the excess and then I glued it
