Check to see if it has a gate valve/ ball valve . This is located to the right at the bottom of the hull looking at stern of the boat from inside check to see how far closed it is . U will have to adjust it when running to get the temp u want . That is the first thing u should look at

Think on it this way , save ur self $200 on a cam or pay $$$ to have it tore back down to pull the junked cam out and pay for another one . Lol I went with a clay smith cam for my 454 check them out

Oh boy here we go again , sounds like ur wear ring is smoked , pull the bowl off and look to see if u have any damage on the impeller. And u should never run a pump out of the water lol . Now I have started the shit storm with that comment .
