Random Boat Parts For Sale / Anyone want to experiment?????

Hi guys,
I have a brand new in a box Stage 2 Boost/Cooler water/methanol injection system from snow performance. I was planning to to try this myself but my power plant went to junk....  :banghead: For those who are curious what this is here is the link to the actual kit the one I got has the two plate for two carbs for a tunnel ram I also have 3 cases of BOOST JUICE to go with it.With this kit you could Run 11:1 to 13:1 compression ratio (or more) on pump gas!! Increase your pump gas octane by 20-25 points and make more power. More power and efficiency with cooler running for your naturally aspirated V8 Muscle Engines.

This kit uses a progressive controller that proportionally injects more or less according to manifold vacuum. Start and full points are adjustable for engagement and delivery curve, to match what the engine requires. High compression modified engines can gain performance through cooler intake charges and the large increase in octane and detonation suppression. It can also be geared towards fuel economy and using lower grades of gasoline. Comes with one or two 4150-style 1" Carburetor spacer plate(s) or a Dominator carburetor spacer plate threaded for Snow Performance injection nozzles, and a solenoid to prevent vacuum siphoning.

If anyone is intrested just PM me or email me I paid close to 800 dollars for the kit and the juice Im asking 350 for it all and to add to all this I just want to give The EngineDoctor AKA David from A & D Engine a huge thank you for your help and advice, it is greatly appreciated. This forum & the people are gr8t!!!!!!

« on: July 09, 2009, 06:06:59 AM »
I installed another breaker for the stereo system (100amp) with its own lead from the battery, So the only other thing thats left are my gauges,Alt.....e.t.c.. how about isolating the alternator on it own breaker, maybe two 30's or one 30 for the alt and one 15 for the console.

Engine Mechanical / Electrical / Ignition protection....?
« on: July 08, 2009, 02:38:23 PM »
So here it is guys, I have a Mallory series 50 Magnetic Breakless Igniton now i was on my way back to windsor ramp Sunday morning after the 4th and about 400 ft. or so the boat died, no crank no nothing so i checked my breaker and bingo it was popped, now upon reseting it  the engine would turn but no start so i figured i got no spark now after taking her back to the trailer i verify and sure no spark well the ignition module inside went out so i made the stupid mistake of buying another module on Monday without checking for a  short to ground possibly so i installed, ran a test and start the engine, now the boat starts runs for 10 to 15 second and senario all over again breaker main pops.... :banghead: I run my module test to see if it was ok only to find out that i f@#$%@&* it up again  I know i have to look for a short somewhere  but my question is, is there a way to protect the module i think  a fuse on the hot going to the module would'nt help since it would still get that spike before it would blow, maybe possibly a zener from the hot going in to the negative going to the engine block or a (MOV)Metal Oxide Varistor in place of the zener has any of you guys had this issue and all im trying to accomplish is protecting that module for me and anyone and save myself those $83 dollars not to mention that it could ruin your weekend since it's not your everyday autozone part....  :banghead:
