Just prepare to work away from home if you get on with bnsf. I've had to chase work all the way to nebraska and texas. Money is good though. Even better if you get the crew managers to pay for your travel expenses and lodging.

Fuck the river regatta. This is ridiculous. These pictures don't even show the half of it.

Well I didn't make it past the interview. I guess my moving to socal will have to wait for now. I seen a few jobs out there but I can't move out there and make 10 bucks an hour. I'll have to keep trying
Sorry to hear that man. All I can say is keep applying. Be persistent. I applied 3 times before I got hired on. Just keep an eye on the website.

Good luck @horizonjet. Make sure to show up early. They lock the doors at the start time and will not let anyone else in after that. Just let em know that you want to be a part of their team. Be friendly. Like 74hondo said...the interview panel aren't just bosses. They are gonna be coworkers of yours. Tell em you're the guy who can go out there and get the job done effectively and efficiently without getting hurt or endangering others. All the interview questions are basic garden variety questions. What makes you qualified for the job? etc, etc. you got this man. Let us know how it goes.

Minit-serv dairy on ramar rd. sells 111 octane. Terrible herbst gas station used to sell 100 octane but they got rid of it a while back. I believe the dairy is the only place in town that sells high octane fuel.

In my BNSF interview I wore dress shoes, slacks, long sleeve button up, and a tie. There were people there wearing full on business suits and there were people there just wearing jeans and a t-shirt. I got the job. But I don't know if how I dressed had anything to do with it. Like 74hondo said....it's all about how you answer their questions. Their number one thing is safety. Be sure to mention safety in some way. They want someone that can be a part of their team. Not just an employee. At least that's how my interview made me feel. Good luck.

74hondo is right about BNSF. If you don't get hired the first time don't give up, keep trying. I have been trying to get hired on for years. And my persistence has finally paid off. Recently got hired on in needles, CA for conductor. Good luck on your job search though.

For those that are interested...I know the city of bullhead city will be hiring in the roads dept for 3 full time positions very soon. Just keep an eye on their website for the openings. Kinda far away from you though.

Great to see another Hallett on the site. And I agree with hauls balls about the tanks. I had to replace mine a few years back with alum ones. Anyways. Cool boat and keep us updated.

I agree the one on the left is the newer one. And it is also the one I'm running on my WJ. Works great.

I agree with these guys. It's only a matter if time til you find a problem with all the crud in your tanks. Took me a while to find a pair that would fit. Finally found some on Craigslist and it's the best investment you can do in my opinion. Pretty scary when your out on the water and get a fuel leak. Better safe than sorry bud.

Yeah I agree with Brad. The weeds were bad. And now that there is going to be current the water will be much cleaner. Before everything that grew or spilled in there just basically stayed there. (Algae, moss, oil, gas, nasty mud).

Sweet. Yeah I figured they were already done because of the deadline. I've been on sort of a mini vacation over the holidays so I haven't made it up there to get more pics just yet.
