1994 sun sport open bow jet boat and pultow tandem trailer. Currently getting the marine power 454 ready to go in it. But can sell as is. Has an American turbine pump,with diverter,built in euro swim steps,11 speaker " booming" sound system, auto meter gauges, email for pics and details.this was a havasu boat, does great in the bigger water, did 70mph on gps with a built 496 stroker,( I'm keeping the 496).....willing to sell w/ or without power, $7000 for boat & tandem trailer without power, ( engine that comes with it is a marine power 454,with hei ign,edelbrock 750 carb and rpm intake , Holley fuel pump,)$10,000 you install motor( have engine on stand to run) or $11,000 turn key. Here's the deal.. Just picked up a new hull. 21' open bow placecraft sport. Dropping my fresh built BOSTICK RACING 489( dynoed around 650hp 650tq) as soon as I get the new DCB interior done. All I will have left to do is the pump,rigging and stereo.( got the rigging and stereo covered). My deal is what to do with pump. What I have available are berk JG and an older(1994) American turbine pump.what should I go with??? Both pumps are stock and I have 2 place diverters.( one manual,one hydraulic). Have a budget of $4000 for just the pump.which will include: stainless impeller,inducer,powder coat,etc. let's hear what you guys would do...( may squeeze a lil NOS on her to bump the HP up to 850 at times..😎😉).....

Bostick built!
Pump gas friendly 489 for a 21' family cruiser. The requirements were: It had to run on pump gas (even the crap they have at the dock), had to work with wet exhaust system, needed to make all it's beans by 6k rpm, and needed to be driver friendly to pull skiers and tubes behind a very heavy 21' open bow. No problem...here's what we put together... Gm production 4 bolt block completely machined and worked by BRE, 10:1 SRP +.030 pistons, Edelbrock small Victor 300 heads reworked by BRE with a "little" port detailing, machined down to 115cc's, guides honed for marine application, and a nice 3 angle valve job, 6.385 H beam rods w/ ARP2000 bolts, Scat 4.250 steel crankshaft, Schneider custom hydraulic roller (low 230's intake, low 240's exhaust and .615 lift), Isky hydraulic roller lifters, Comp 1.7 stainless rockers. Built for a family cruiser that should get up and move when needed. Made a best of 648hp@6000 and 632tq@4700... with a power band flat as a pancake... hitting just over 600hp@5000 rpm. Will idle at 800-850ish, which is very nice for I/O applications... but still making decent power for a jet boat friendly application.
Totally awesome guy to deal with! Best experience when my hard earned cash was on the line. Defiantly would recommend and will be going back for my pump work!

Audio / Anyone got some BIG sounds?

Starting the audio system while waiting on the motor. All going in my 21' open bow. 6 Polk audio 6x9's, 1 set of Polk audio 6 1/2 components. 1-13"jl w3, Sony deck with separate sub control. 1- old school planet audio Real 600 watt amp bridged to sub. ADS pq10 will send about 50watts to each mid. In my last boat I had half this stuff and was always one of the loudest cleanest sounding floats around. Hoping to actually out do myself. >:D back in the day ( early to mid 90's)I did DB drag racing. Hoping to put the wake barge boats to shame! Got the batteries ran off a solenoid so when the key is off the start battery is automatically put on reserve. When engine is running it automatically charges both.no switch to have to remember after frivolous consumption of boat sodas.Using interstate group 27 batts. 2 right now.may add another in line with the stereo batt.depends on how long it lasts?  8)

not a place diverter. but,is american turbines version of it. should fit a berk..includes pump, complete nozzle with rudder ,hyd. cylinder, etc.. $500 OBO. .PREFER pickup up in san diego(lakeside) pump is missing acrylic cover. ready to buy a cart to haul my fat arse around.  :P what is the deal on being legal? the cart im looking at is a lifted 1994 yamaha with a gas motor and 4 seats(2 face backwards) it already has lights with blinkers.figure ill add d.o.t. seat belts,windshield and a horn. how do i avoid being hassled by "THE MAN". got an address there i could send paperwork to. is it as easy as walking into the dmv with a  ins.,and ill walkout with plates? im not an az.resident.

Boats For Sale / 21' bahner open bow

1989 bahner open bow. Tandem trailer is like new. With new tires,paint,bearings,brakes etc.etc. one fender has paint scratches where woody chewed on it.  (woody is my English bulldog and hates anything with a motor).
 fresh berkely 12jg split bowl pump,had it all powder coated red while bostick was rebuilding it.had an inducer installed along with an AQ shaft. Place diverter works as it should.along with new cables. Motor is a bbc 454 (.030 over so a 460) runs great and has a fresh set of oval port heads,bostick just went through them. Dooley pan,aluminum intake Holley 750 carb,Hardin logs,clay smith cam,billet hei ign.white beede guages,Top mount hi torque starter ,etc.etc. only have one issue and that is when you start the motor the oil psi is a solid 70 psi,as you drive the boat psi drops as low as 20psi.was told the oil pump is sucking air( pickup not welded?).a bad bearing would do the opposite? And it sounds great no knocking or strange noises. Either way.not trying to hide anything.i ran it all summer thinking if she blows she goes,still no problem.
Hull is the 21' open bow model with seating for 8 ( although I've had 10 people in it at one time). Rides super, has minor stress cracks but still shines good. Had the floor replaced a few years back, and the interior has seen better days,should be good for at least another season, comes with a bimini top,full cover,new battery,6 speaker sound system. I used this boat all summer long at Martinez and elcap. Still floats like a champ with tons of room. was the favored ride amongst our friends,and families. Call Jason at (619)339-3six5six. A friend recently bought a project 21' open bow commander jet boat. Was missing the entire engine cover. Where can he get one.or who can build one? San Diego area.or anyone have the cover to copy? Thanx!

Seems like a solid hull.1993 sunsports 21' open bow. Built in euro swim step. Can't even find a splash that it could have been copied from? Looks to be very well built. Anyone have any info? Will post pics after I get it. :P

Here's the combo. 4 bolt block ,scat forged crank,h-beam rods with arp bolts,srp pistons around 10.5-11 compression with e-Brock Vic jr.heads,air gap intake,quikfuel 850 carb,full Hyd roller valve train,msd ign, CMI stainless jacketed headers with 4in tips.should put out 600-650 hp.

Bought boat knowing it needed work. Knew pump needed rebuild, was assured motor is like "new"  :sly: mad dash to get pump built before memorial day. Get pump back 2 days before we were about to go.never had a chance to run motor.  :banghead: find # 3 cyl is dead.0% compression. Say f*ck it and run boat all weekend on 7 cyls. Figured I'd run it till it blows, get home and pull head to find dropped seat,cracked head, and bent pushrod, new heads,pushrod and gaskets,ran boat at elcap yesterday,popping thru carb... :mad: pull # 3 wire popping goes away...bad cam.. :banghead: another problem is the oil psi seems funky? Guage was broken when I got it so I replaced it with another I had lying around. Psi fluctuating from 80-10 psi ? Changed sender now 60-10 under load? I'm hoping this is not an accurate reading ? Going to try new guage with sender before swapping cam. If still no good anyone have a match..... >:D :banghead: :banghead: :mad: :-\
Just trying to get it through the season while building my 496.hate to keep throwing money at a turd.
