I am selling my Place diverter adapter that will allow you to run pretty much any kind of place diverter with your Jacuzzi WJ pump. The adapter bolts to the 4 bolt flange where the stock nozzle goes on a WJ pump, and just by removing the pins on a place diverter and installing this assembly, you can use a place divereter on your Jacuzzi pump. This will really come in handy if you are having trouble finding a diverter made specificially for a jacuzzi pump or if you have a berk, american turbine, agressor diverter laying around.
I am asking $100.00 for it as I paid about 150 for it last year. Any questions or comments feel free to hit me up.

PS I will post pics when I get home tonight.

Hey guys,

Im seeling my jacuzzi WJ jet assembly from my boat, this includes the pump, bown, intake, and loader. Everything is in good shape except for the impeller and wear ring. The impeller could be repaired and recut but if you have a spare itdd be best to replace it. i removed it from the boat as I am going with a berk setup. The loader is a ski type loader, and not just a rock grate so its a step up if you just have a rock grate. Im asking $200.00 OBO for everything.

The No Wake Zone / question about cleaning rims
« on: March 30, 2010, 12:11:21 AM »
hey guys quick question.
The rims on my trailer are in crappy shape. Up until tonight i didnt think they had any chrome left on them, but upon closer inspection, i discovered the theres this hard dull film on them that can be removed if you scrape it with your fingernail. It kinda looks like calcium buildup. I tried using number 0 steel wool on them and it worked it just took a TON of elbow grease to clean one small area. Has anyone ever seen this or know how I can get them clean again without wearing my fingers down to the bone, lol i tried rim cleaner, steel wool, CLR, rubbing compound etc. The section that i steel wooled is some of the shiniest chrome I have ever seen but id like the rest of the rim to match lol.

hey guys.
I just got back from the river this weekend after a test and tune weekend. Well I ended up burning my dizzy cap when i used the HVC 2 coil I had which caused a misfire which caused the engine to breathe water in from the newly recoated headers and now working water injection system milkshaking the engine lol. Anyway Just wanted to share. You can hear the misfire really good in the second video lol. It was fun to get on the water for the fifteen mine i was on it so it wasnt a total waste. :-)

leaving marina video

heading up river misfiring like crazy video lol

Engine Mechanical / Electrical / Oil pressure problem
« on: May 22, 2009, 03:47:10 PM »
Hey guys quick question,

On A BBC at what PSI is the internal oil pressure relief supossed to start blowing off pressure? When I ran my engine the other day with 15w40 and 2 qts of 60 weight in it to break it in I was getting about 90 psi at idle and when i brought the rpm's up it would peg the gauge. I'm 99 percent that the gauge and sender are good becauswe they worked not too long ago when my friends engine was in the boat. Im going to change the oil and filter tomorrow and see what happens but if its too high still I may need to see if there is debris stuck in the relief passage or if its even servicable.  Any help and info would be much appreciated.

Hey guys,

I have a brand new Edelbrock Victor 454-O intake manifold for sale. When I ordered it from Jegs they shipped me the manifold for a 4500 series carb instead of one for a 4150 carb. So I am selling the 4500 series manifold. It was never used but I did install it on the engine only to find that the carb that I have didn't fit lol. I'm asking $200.00 because I paid about $256.00 plus shipping. Anyone interested?

Hey guys,

Does anybody have a broken up set of MSD red 8mm spark plug wires? I got my boat running today, (pics and vid to come) and I ended up burning the crap out of one of the wires. I just need the one wire to make the set complete again.

Anyone got one lol.

BTW its the one that goes from the dizzy on my BBC to the #8 plug. (its going all the way from the dizzy to the front drivers side cylinder)

Engine Mechanical / Electrical / Intake manifold bolt torque?
« on: May 10, 2009, 03:42:37 PM »
Hey guys quick question.

I had to pull my intake manifold off the other day because I was shipped a victor series edelbrock manifold that was for a 4500 series carb and I have a 4150 setup so I had to take it off and return it but what im wondering is, what should I torque the bolts that hold the intake manifold to the head? I have a repair manual for an old chevy truck and it says something like 40 foot pounds but thats for the stock cast iron manifold and the new ones aluminum.  I have a BBC enging in the boat with cast iron heads, but I still don't want to over torque the bolts.

What say you? lol

Engine Mechanical / Electrical / Oil pan clearance
« on: April 03, 2009, 10:38:41 AM »
hey guys quick question,

When you use a dooley 10 gt marine pan you can use the stock pickup right, and still have proper clearance. I hope so, lol because when i stuck the pan on yesterday i had a weird feeling that there may not be the needed clearance between the pickup and the bottom of the pan.

Engine Mechanical / Electrical / Pushrod selection
« on: April 02, 2009, 05:56:01 PM »
Hey guys, Im finally about done with my engine. I just have a few questions about selecting the right pushrods.

First off, how can I tell if my engine is a tall deck or not. Second of all, it is a stock block and stock heads, nothing has been decked to my knowledge. So what im wondering, what are the stock lengths for pushrods for a 454 BBC, and what would you guys recommend i use?  i was looking at some of the comp cams hi tech pushrods, but before I order them I need to make sure that I get teh right ones.

BTW, I would look at my old pushrods but they got thrown away accidently.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

hey guys,

I need a holley 850 double pumper with mechanical secondaries and manual choke. I have a 750 single pumper with elec choke and vacuum secondaries but Im being told that it wont be enough for my build. Does anyone have one for sale.

Engine Mechanical / Electrical / Ignition question..
« on: January 22, 2009, 02:03:48 PM »
Hey guys,

What I am wondering is, are there any differences between an aftermarket HEI setup and aftermarket NON- HEI setup performance wise? Because i have a full MSD HEI setup at the moment, and im considering going to the external coil non HEI setup in order to keep the coil as far forward in the boat as possible to prevent it from getting wet, plus the HEI setup it huge lol.

can anyone offer some insight.

Heres my mini garage sale.

$150.00  Set Of BBC  Chevy heads. I took them off of my engine in running condition, I know they are ugly and brown, but they work. The numbers on both of them are 346236.

$50.00 Stock 454 intake manifold. Yea I know lol Its ugly and dirty but it works. Ill also include the adapter from edelbrock to stock flange thats on there.

$50.00 Mallory electronic distributor and accel coil. I took both off of the boat before I pulled the engine out and they both work.

$150.00 Set of BBC INDMAR logs and snails. They are both in good working shape with no cracks or major dings. They are a lil bit dirty tho lol. The previous owner of my boat didn't think much about cleanliness.

All prices are negociable lol so let me know :-)

Engine Mechanical / Electrical / Rocker Selection
« on: January 14, 2009, 05:02:54 PM »
Hey guys, Im running a hydraulic flat tappet cam shaft and the specs are as follows.

What rocker ratio do you think I should run? I have stock pistons and stock rod length and i want to make sure that the pistons and valves dont kiss one another lol. Any recommendations on rocker brands or models? Stock ratio is 1.5 right? sorry, lol its been a while.  Also, do you think ill be cool with 1 piece 3/8 push rods? or should i do 7/16.  By the way its a Big BLock Chevy motor.

Heres a pic of the rear motor mount from my friends 73 kona. It has a BBF in it and I have never seen this type of rear engine mount before. it has the 2 feet that stick out and go right over the 2 front mounting holes for the jet and theres a 1/2 inch bolt that goes thru the mount, thru the jet and thru the bottom of the boat and it has washers and a nut under the boat. Any Ideas? it looks VERY strong and my friends BBF pushes upwards of 800HP and it hasnt given him any probs.
