Cars / Automobiles For Sale / 2007 2500HD classic lbz duramax
« on: February 24, 2020, 04:56:56 PM »
:-\ Selling my 2007 lbz duramax. Bought it a few months back with plans to buy a trailer but ended up buying a house instead lol so need to free up some cash for some upgrade. Truck has 135k miles on it. 4x4 works great. Truck is extremely clean and was just detailed with a paint sealant applied. Just had a new Garrett turbo installed last month due to the old vvt turbo not working correctly(have receipt for 2500). Previous owner installed a new transfer case in November 2019. Truck has a 4” turbo back straight pipe and efi live tuning with 5 position switch along with a cts2 screen. It runs great and is very fast and fun to drive. Has leather/heated/power seats, full center console, ect. Camper shell is very clean. Has new 35” toyo all terrains with less than 1k miles on them. Smog cert good for another 2 months. Truck is 100% ready to go. Not in a hurry to sell. Asking 26,500 714-742-3275 shoot me a text for more pictures. Located in Norco

Boats For Sale / 1975 Hallett Bubbledeck Blown BBC
« on: August 27, 2017, 06:32:22 PM »
Listing this for my buddy who doesn't have an account on here. I have drivin  and ridin in this boat numerous times and it shits and gets. Someone is going to get a badass boat

1975 Hallett Bubbledeck 468 BBC, 6-71 blower. Lots of new parts and work on this boat in the past year. Entire electrical system brand new including MSD with rev limiter, brand new custom imco gas tanks, new fuel pump, new Bassett headers (ceramic coated), Holley 850s completely rebuilt last year by C & J engineering, new rockers, new springs, fresh heads, and new carpet. Berkeley pump, place diverted, Auto Meter gauges, 10qt pan. Fast fun boat! Some visible cracking in paint that you can see if you are right up on it but all in all it is a nice looking boat. Over $20k in receipts for boat dating back over the past 15 years. I am probably forgetting some stuff so call or text if you would like more information (I have plenty of pictures and videos) please call or text. Some of the photos show the old through transom exhaust that is no longer on the boat. Slim possibility of trade for diesel truck but would prefer cash. Boat is located in Needles. Any reasonable offer considered but I do NOT have to sell boat or need money so please no bs. Thanks for looking! $16k obo

The No Wake Zone / Anyone live in Elsinore?
« on: July 11, 2017, 07:47:13 AM »
Looking to buy my first house and this is about the only area in my price range unless I get a condo in corona with no garage and room to park toys. I work in la county so Elsinore is about as far as I can go without the commute being insane. Anyone have any feedback? A lot of people think I'm crazy for even considering it but everything else is just too damn exspensive. Looking at a few on the west end prolly 3 miles from the lake and another one on the west corner backs up to the mountains and hwy 74. Thanks in advance.

Engine Mechanical / Electrical / Msd coil/ pertronix ign no spark
« on: September 14, 2016, 05:47:50 AM »
Haven't had any issues with ignition in 3 years. A few days ago my elect. Fuel pump was leaking took it off fixed the leak put it back on and reset the regulator and what not. Never crossed my mind that the 5 min I had the pump running I also had power to the coil/ignition. Went to start it yesterday and have no spark. Did I fry the blaster 2 or the pertronix pointless conversion deal in my dizzy? Ohmed out coil had 0.00 on primary side and 5.3k on secondary side If I remember right that's within spec? I'm thinking the coil might have been on its way out because last trip out I was cruising along and thing popped a few times and died. Cranked a few times nothin. Drank a beer cranked a few minutes later and fired right up and ran fine the next day. Anyone have any ideas before I go dropping cash on new coils and ignition modules n al that?

Engines / Engine Parts For Sale / 1997 Mercury 25hp outboard
« on: August 03, 2016, 03:41:28 PM »
Recently repowered our bass tracker with a 40hp motor and it's time to get rid of the 25 we had on it. Motor works and runs flawless. It's a 2stroke and It is remote control. Runs on premix fuel 50:1. Brand new shifting and throttle cables. Fires right up. Also has a pull start which is convenient if your battery dies. Our 16ft bass tracker went 26mph with two guys. It's a great little motor just needed a little more power for fishing the river. Would be great on a smaller pontoon also. Asking1200$ obo . Call or text with any questions. 7147423275
Thanks, blake

-Ceramic coated Bassett headers

-forged crank an forged speed pro Pistons

Him. Only one trip on new carbs

-1974 competitive tandem axle is in great shape just could use some paint.

- sits on forged centerline wheels with new tires that have maybe 700 miles on them

I really don't want to sell this thing but it's starting to get tough to make river trips happen without having my own place out there and really need to buy my own house back at home. I am in absolutely no hurry to sell this thing. It's turn key and runs amazing. (71 on gps)
Don't let the olds motor scare you I've done all the proper medications to make it out run all my buddy's fords and Chevys. The only two things left on my to do list was upholstery and paint the trailer but just haven't got around to it. Boat has just under 400hrs in the last 42 years.

Asking 10,500$ and don't have a reason right now to take a whole lot less than that.

Lower River / Boat storage Blythe?
« on: May 02, 2016, 11:15:37 AM »
Looking for a place to keep the boat between trips so I don't have to drag it up every weekend. Preferring a indoor spot. Called aha quin and they want 150$ for a 10x30 indoor but she mentioned there's cheaper places in town which I don't mind. Does anyone have any recommendations? I go to waterwheel so I would prefer something on ca side north of the 10. Thanks

Engines / Engine Parts For Sale / Oil cooler setup
« on: May 01, 2016, 05:41:01 PM »
Got a Eddie marine oil cooler setup I just pulled off my boat. Ran once at Elsinore for about and hour and realized i had too much oil in my motor causing high oil temps so I don't need it. Paid about 350 for the whole setup. 250$ takes the cooler, mounts, sand which adapter and the lines of you want em.

Engine Mechanical / Electrical / Oil cooler sandwich adapter
« on: February 11, 2016, 09:11:41 PM »
Has anyone ever used one? Starting to put together a list of what I need to buy to plumb my oil cooler. I'd like to simplify it as much as I can and not do a filter relocation kit. My only issue is clearance between the bottom of the hull and the filter I believe I have about a 1" 1/2. This is on a olds 455. Anyone know how thick those things are?

Trailers / Competitive trailer coupler
« on: November 04, 2015, 06:57:21 PM »
Goin nuts trying to figure out what coupler to put on this thing. Trying to get rid of the death trap slide on deal that's on there. The front square tube is a super weird size and I've searched far and wide trying to find something that would work. It's like 4 1/4x3 5/8. Anyone with a similar trailer have a solution?
