The No Wake Zone / GoPro Hero4 Silver
« on: July 07, 2018, 01:50:14 PM »
Wife bought it for me a couple years ago for Xmas and I never used it even once. Didn't even buy the sd card for it. So it is literally brand new. Only turned it on a couple times.

I know she paid way too much, so what is a reasonable offer for it? And not the standard scjb offer. Lol

Interior / F#ck Carpet
« on: February 24, 2018, 04:43:01 PM »
Ripping up some nasty ass original carpet. While listening to Sum 41 and drinking beer. Made it tolerable. Lol. So much dust, sand and disintegrating carpet underneath that my shop vac ate up.

So now I ask you badass jet boat guys.....where do you get carpet and adhesive. Definetly on a budget. And what is the best tool to cut it?

Going to scope out Amazon and see what it is up too

The No Wake Zone / My Nipples are Hard!

Because I am cold! So thinking about taking my boat out on New Years and I read cold makes more power, hot takes away. This is true? With jet boats? How much? Teach me! Should be 45-55 degrees out that day. Way different then 100 degrees. Lol

I know it is a day early, but seriously thank you to everyone who ever served. We are for ever in your debt.

So today we are marching from the state capital in Sacramento all the way to San Francisco. Two day march. My cousin organized the non profit.

We hope it gets bigger and bigger every year.

Engine Mechanical / Electrical / Oil and Water Temp
« on: July 01, 2016, 02:38:38 PM »
I was thinking(I know! It was big of me to actually think), but does engine temp reflect oil temp or vice versa?  Can you have a cool running engine but hot as sh!t oil temp? Or if one is hot obviously the other is hot? I dont know, just curious. Little Friday thinkin.
And if oil gets too hot what can happen? I am full of questions, next I want to know how babies are made.

Jet Pumps / Got Rooster Tail?
« on: June 03, 2016, 12:53:04 PM »
So my buddy has a 19 foot Eliminator. JG pump with diverter. When I first saw the pump I was kinda surprised how far down it points. When it is down like that he has a shit ton of boat in the water. When it is all the way up he has next to nothing of a rooster.  But I am no expert. What do you think? Normal? Or we can change something?

« on: May 18, 2016, 10:12:24 AM »
Teach me all mighty racer jetter boater people!  I have never been taught and I understand all boats are different but what is the best way to get out of the hole and to your top speed fast? I have droop and diverter.

Diverter down at start then tap up a few to get to max speed?
Or diverter is already up a couple notches and go like that?
Teach me!
Memorial weekend is close and CFW is ruthless.

Jet Pumps / Did I screw myself?
« on: February 25, 2016, 07:17:48 AM »
The past two years I have been scraping together this new engine(after blowing the last one up). Funkin dying to get back on the water this summer. Like wont stop talkin about with anyone within ear shot of me. I have taken every marine engine precaution that I was recommended or read about. Lets say I am in the 600ish range? Now I cant confirm that, but lets just say 6ish for the sake of argument. Wasn't even thinking of the impeller in my pump. JC aluminum a cut. So did I screw myself?  What can go wrong? Anyone else done it and been ok? Thanks for the info/help!

The No Wake Zone / Water Levels

Camp Far West is officially full with water flowing over the spillway and Folsom Lake is just about at their winter capacity(55% of total max capacity). So we are doing pretty good up here so far. How's it looking down south?

Engine Mechanical / Electrical / Edelbrock Heads - PN#60669
« on: June 04, 2015, 09:55:31 AM »

What do you guys think about these heads? I am limited in my options of 95cc heads.  I can get them for a little over 1k each with no tax and no shipping charges.  I have done some reading and research now I want to hear from the big boys.  Let me hear it!!!  Thanks!

Engine Mechanical / Electrical / Cruisin the Internet

Random Boat Parts For Sale / Got Heads???
« on: May 15, 2015, 04:01:43 PM »
So my engine builder and I somehow didn't communicate real well.  Somehow it was assumed I had 95-100cc chamber heads. Well I am really just sitting at 75cc.  So my compression jumped to 13 to 1. No bueno. Can't afford to run racing fuel. So I am wondering how much I should sell them for?  600? 800? 1000? 2000? Kagillion? No clue. Any help would be appreciated.  Just had them both gone through for 400+ dollars, so they are ready to rock.........just not on my engine. Thanks

P.s. Don't know a whole bunch about them unfortunately which makes it hard to figure.

Engine Mechanical / Electrical / Cam Selection
« on: May 05, 2015, 02:02:55 PM »
You know what is frustrating?  Not being smart enough or knowing enough about engines to make an educated decision on what cam to select.  So I basically have my engine 90% purchased but the cam is KILLING me.  Talked with a couple technicians on a couple of different cam sites, one was super afraid of reversion the other acted like it was no big deal.  One said one thing the other said the opposite.  I don't know.  Just kind of tough and I don't want to make the wrong decision and blow my engine up.................again.  But I do want it to perform and be a bad@ss monster.  You know what I am saying?  Think I need some cheese with my whine.   :banghead:

Gelcoat / Paint / Fireberglass Repair / Gas Stain
« on: May 03, 2015, 11:38:22 AM »
So I had some gas leak out of my tank and it stained my white paint.  I gave the boat a bath and used a couple different substances but still can't get the stain off.  Anything you guys use that might help? Thanks
