Boats For Sale / 2008 Ultra 22 Stealth

2008 Ultra 22 Stealth, second owner have had it for about seven years now. Truly is an amazing boat, just going a different direction now.

502/502, Dominator set back pump, ride plate, shoe, inducer, droop, hyro diverter. Alpine/JL stereo 12 speakers, 2 12" subs, 3 amps, Binimi top, tow cover, storage cover, Extreme trailer, Boat is mint, not a scratch on it. Always stored in garage with covers on.

Located in Washington State.

Any body know whats going on at Ultra boats. I have read that John West has left them, are they still making boats? If so has the quality stayed the same. There web site is still there, but no new updates???

   I just got done putting a 6al msd box on my boat, now my tach doesnt work. i have a 454, msd pro billet distributer, and a autometer tach. It worked just fine before. Do I not have something hooked up right? Any help would be good.

Engine Mechanical / Electrical / motor mounts

Here it is. I have a 77 sundance with a 454 and berkley. Tha front motor mounts are in the same spot they would be on a car, with a mount on the motor that connects to a mount that bolts to the stinger. The back has a bell housing that bacically sits on the pump then has like a u clamp that holds it there. My buddy just bought a 79 miller that has plates on both ends of the motor then bolts right to the stingers. it looks like his motor is alot more solid then mine. When mine is idleing you can see it rock back and fourth, his doesn't move a bit. I'm now wondering if it's a big deal and if so should I change mine. He has full lenth stingers on his boat. Where on mine I don't. Maybe thats why the back of my motor is mounted to the pump, for more stability? Does any one know anything that can help me out?

My buddy is looking at a boat with a panther drive in it. Are they any good, or not? I don't see them much any where, so I guess thats why I don't know much about them. Help us out!

   I'm new to the forum. Earlier I asked about a slit bowl for my pump, but after reading some post I have alot more questions for you all. First off I have a 1977 sundance 18'. It has a 454 with right around 450 horse. The pump is a bearkley 12 jc with a diverter. My problem is that when you are taking off if you just mash the throttle it just sitts there and cavate's. I do alot of skiing, wakboarding so this makes it hard. Plus I'm getting beat out of the hole by a out board... I don't have a speedo in the boat, but were guessing it goes right around 66 mph, just from racing a few with speedos. I would not only like to fix the cavatation problem but would like to get some more speed out of it, Also some more roost. With the diverter all the way up the only time you really get roost is if you floor it. So I'm wondering if any one know's a good set up for my hull. I don't really want to hasle with a ride plate, does the droop snoot that place diverter makes with the ride plate in it work ok? Hope I can get this figured out befor my buddy with the outboard beats me any more. :banghead:

I have a 12 jc with a place diverter on it. But I want to go to a split bowl. Do I have to get a hole new pump or do they make a split bowl convertion for my pump. Thank you.

hey whats up. I'm new to the forurn. I got a quick question. I bought a msd pro billet distributor form my 1977 sundance. Its got a 454, but now my tach doesn't work right. What do I got to do for it to work? Someone one said I need to get a new tach, is that right? I have the stock hardine marine tach in it right now. I appreciate your help.
