Boats For Sale / 2004 Evolution 22' tritoon
« on: August 02, 2017, 02:05:56 PM »
Hey guys, I know it's not a jet boat but I have a 04 tritoon with a Mercury 115hp outboard. The boat runs great but needs some TLC. Needs interior and new plywood floor. Trailers in good shape needs new carpet on the bunks. I bought this boat about a month ago with the intention of doing the interior and floor but have since lost interest and have other things I want to.

Interior / Interior shops in the So cal area....
« on: July 05, 2017, 01:18:30 PM »
I'm looking for suggestions for a new interior, I need to get my 22' pontoon redone. I've had work done by Martinez in the past and we all know he does great work but seems like way to much to drop on a pontoon boat. So I'm looking for suggestions of other shops around...

Boats For Sale / 1989 Ultra open bow
« on: July 08, 2016, 10:01:26 PM »
Toying with selling my Ultra as I have my eye on another boat.....
It's 89 Ultra with a 454 that was rebuilt by the previous owner about 7-8yrs ago but I did go through the top end and replaced the peanut port heads with large oval 049 heads, 3/8 push rods, cam and lifters and topped it off with a high rise intake and 750 Holley. The Berkeley JG pump was rebuilt last season by GS marine and has a droop and a hydraulic place diverter. The boat runs great and rides like a Cadillac 👍🏻 The interior is in great shape but could use some new carpet.
Asking 12k or best

Engine Mechanical / Electrical / No fuel pressure??
« on: June 28, 2015, 06:27:02 PM »
Ok so here's the long and short, I'm chasing gremlins! For some reason I'm not showing any fuel pressure on my gauge on my fuel rail to the carb. It used to work fine? So I thought maybe the gauge went bad, put a new gauge..... same thing?  Next thing I thought well maybe the pump is going bad? (All this time boat is running like normal) put a new electric pump on..... still no pressure? I've replaced all the fuel lines and filters. When I run a line from the pump just free into a can it flows great and doesn't appear to have any issues with flow or pressure?  Any thoughts.......

Engine Mechanical / Electrical / Motor loading up at idle
« on: June 12, 2015, 08:53:32 PM »
So here's my problem guys, I just rebuilt my motor and pump. It's a 454 with stock lower end and 049 cast iron heads I'm running a comp xtreme marine cam 270h grind 544in 547in lift and a edelbrock performer rpm intake and a holley 750 carb to top it off. Ok so here's my issue, the boat was running great but would load up at idle so I check the floats and I had them to high so I corrected that issue so i thought..... then I go out today boats running great I set my idle screws with my vacuum gauge and check the timing all good. Boat ran great all day and then as I come in to the no wake zone head back to the trailer it starts loading up again just like before! It actually died on me once had to keep my foot in it to keep it running.  I don't understand what's going on? Once I put it on the trailer I fired it up and it seemed to run fine on the trailer.  Any help would be great I pulling my hair out!

Project Boats For Sale / 1977 hallet 19' bubble deck
« on: February 15, 2015, 06:22:01 PM »
Bought this project a few months ago with the intention of a full resto but things change and I have since bought a new boat, so I need to sell the project. It's a clean solid boat, full stringers and comes with a running 460 and a spare 460 with Harmon 4 point mounts and a berkeley JC pump.  Interior is gutted and will need to be redone and the gel is alittle rough. Great project for someone with some time and money.  Also comes with 20" fiberglass seats with newer white covers. Comes on a two axle coyote trailer in good shape with a new UFP tongue welded on just needs paint  $2500 obo

Jet Pumps / Set back or not?
« on: December 31, 2014, 01:21:59 PM »
So what's the advantages of a set back pump? I'm redoing a 77 hallet bubble deck and I'm trying to decide if it worth all the work to set it back. I know it will give me more interior room but what the pros and cons performance wise? Is it worth it?

Boats For Sale / Schiada 22' crusier
« on: August 28, 2014, 03:45:55 PM »

I have a 1977 Schiada 22' crusier in great shape, it is running a small block 350 chevy with a volvo penta 280 drive. The motor is fresh. It is just a stock 350 maybe 250-260ish HP 120-125psi all cylinders. The interior is a couple of seasons old but in like new shape, carpet is alittle worn in the heavy traffic areas but is still good. This is a great boat and is always turn key. Boat sits on a two axle coyote trailer with brakes. trailer was just reworked with new wheels and tires, new bunks and carpet. Also new brake lines and brake actuator. $9500 or best offer............ I have my eye on another boat so this one needs to go.
