I am going to spray duratec white with the gloss additive   
Can I spray over the colors in the old gel???  Yes I know it will hide them.  Then I can put some graphics on
How much sanding do I have to do for prep??
Is there something better then the duratec or is it good enough
How do I fix the stress cracks in the old gel??

I have a ford 460.  It has snails/logs.   I get water out of the right side exhaust but nothing out of the left side.  I ran it for about 10 minutes.  There’s water going in and out and no water in oil

Since it’s bad to run the jet out of water just how do you get the driveline out without moving motor or jet??   Or is there a driveline that has flanges to separate??

Logs/snails

460 ford with a berkley pump
460 ford with aluminum logs/snails.  Do they need to be regulated like wet Bassett headers??   
Also told that you don’t need a pressure relief valve between the pump and the motor??  It has a gate valve that’s wide open all the time.
Somewhere I read about tuning the water temp to match the motor temp????

Jet Pumps / Installing new pump

I have a 78 Tahiti which needs a new floor and transom.  It has a panther jet.  Since I need to remove everything I was thinking about installing a new pump.  A berkley pump.
Question
How do I do it??
I take out the panther intake but where do I install the new intake?   Is there a certain location??  How do I know where to install the new one??  Are there measurements??
Do I cut the hole in the transom just big enough so the pump will go through or is there a certain size it needs to be??
If I am missing something let me know.
Pictures are always nice.
