We stayed at the AVI for the weekend and for the last run of the day decide to run down river past Fort Mojave (not to familiar with the river). On the way back up river to the Avi we hit a rock bar pretty dam hard and sucked rocks into the jet stalling the motor Now I'm thinking this is all bad, sun is going down were stranded and floating back down river into more rocks pretty scary , lucky my buddy and I were able to tie ropes to the boat and swim the boat to a super nice house with a buoy on its beach after a struggle we got the boat tied and secured.

Time to make some calls to figure how to get the boat back to the trailer. Called to hotel, they transfers me to sea tow. I'm not a member its been 3 years since my boat has seen water. $275 an hour out of Needles and if the water is to low forget it. 

I get my wallet and shirt and shoes and get on the beach and start to walk up the driveway and low and behold there is a boat launch right next to the beach  . Ok, now all I need is a way to get to the hotel and get the trailer over here no address on houses and no one home??? OK, walk down the road a little more a truck is coming my way, I flag it down a local older gentleman (Mike) pulls up, I explain the situation.  I need a taxi or a ride back to the Avi he says he can do me that favor. . By this time sun is down. I call down to the boat to let them know what is going to happen, He lets his girlfriend (Sue) know what he is doing and we head out to the Avi, turns out we are over 15 miles from the hotel. We get there get the trailer off my van an on to my buddies 4x4 pick up and head back, (Mike) waits for us to make sure we find our way back in the dark. We get back to the boat he goes to his girlfriend Sue's house and gets flashlights, comes down to the launch and lights it up for us with his truck to get the boat on the trailer. relief the boats on the trailer everyone is safe after strapping the boat down. I go to Mike and give him my gratitude and some cash, he refuses to take any money and was happy to do a good deed.

I've had this boat on CL for a while and only 4 people have even came to see it. To me this boat is solid and turn key. I lowered the price to the bottom an just want it gone. Great opportunity to get a solid boat cheap tell a friend.

Seats? this cocks*cker has got two. One for you, and one for the hot @ss broad thats gunna be all upons your d*ck after you buy this car. You're a girl? Sh*t works both ways. AC are for hippies. Fortunately this car don't have one. Oh look at me, I like sitting in my air conditioned car and think about puppies and popsicles. F*ck that. The only noises you're gunna be hearing is the ultra manly engine noises coming from this sweet turbocharged, 1641. Sh*ts getting real, real f*cking fast.

Now, I'll be honest. The wheels are a little lackluster, although everyones gunna be so focused on your super gangster looking VW that nobody is going to give a f*ck about your sh*tty stock steel imitation 15" Rockstars. Yes it leaks oil, it's a VW, it drips like your your girls vajayjay after seeing you driving in this car.

This car has got f*ck tons of awesome parts. Garrett, Sway-a-way, Webber, CB radio with PA loud speaker the list doesn't f*cking END. It just keeps going and going, like the energizer bunny on speed.

You like going fast? Ever tried to outrun 24 police cars and 3 helicopters? You need this car. It will go so fcking fast that you may very well go back in time. It happened to me once. Just once, but it was fcking rad. Its like someone took a rocket and opened its mouth and poured steroids down its throat and and threatened to kill its family if it wasn't the fastest motherfcker you've ever driven.

I was in Long Beach during the races and I did see one boat in the water, and the Race boats around Marine Stadium. I'm thinking, I'm so close why don't I put my boat in the Ocean as long as I stay in the break water I should be fine. What do you guys think about my shiny aluminum. Of course I will flush it and wash everything when I get home. But just flush it with straight water from the hose?

Veterans Stadium Sunday I got a spot need some extra cash to finish another project.

I got a 1947 Chevy Fleetline I built a few years ago for a friends collection. Its going to auction at Keiht McCormick's in Palm Springs on the 19th and I never got this thing to run right with the 3 carbs. The motor is originally a 1953 Corvette Blue Flame 235 in line six. I personally didn't want to put it in the car but customers are always right.
