Clearing out some exhaust systems from the garage. I used these for mock up and had to switch directions on the build so they now need to go. I have one set of Harman Marine logs/snails that have water cooled flanges, perfect for a TT setup. I'm looking for $350 on this set. Note black logs in the pic are already sold. Second set are Guardians, look to be in ok shape but I have never actually run them. I also used these for mock up, looking for $60 obo. local pickup preferred of course(92882,Corona Ca.), any shipping is at your expense. Shoot me a PM and we can work out a deal, Brandon

Miscellaneous / Spam / Enco Mill 100-1525
« on: July 24, 2014, 01:17:06 PM »
So I had dreams of this working in my garage but one thing leads to another and now it's not looking so bright.  I have not used this mill for about a year now but it does work and is great for hobby work but maybe not for building aircraft.  There is some play in the screws but nothing crazy, digital readout works but not sure about the power feed.  Powered by 230v 3ph but can be converted if you want to run it on 220v 1ph(like in your garage), power feed and digital readout both operate on 120v.  This unit probably weighs around 2000lbs. so be sure this is actually do able if you're interested since pick up and transport are on you.  Asking $2000 obo PM me if interested

Projects / Trailer Mover
« on: October 16, 2013, 07:43:25 AM »
I know some of you guys can use one of these so stay posted and pass on any suggestions.

So this is being built off a set of plans that a buddy purchased and he gave me a copy.  I'm making slight modifications since the plans are a bit overkill for what I'm moving.  Started with 3/8"x3" plate for the main frame and receiver support. The base is 1/2"x3 1/2" plate where the axle and bearings will mount, then 4" length of receiver stock for the hitch.  Cleaned up all the edges and clamped it all in place to check square at each point.  I should have the axle and flanges later this week for a better idea of how it will work, not sure if i'm going to stay with the plans on the motor components or create my own drive.  We will see as this thing progresses.

The No Wake Zone / Any one have or know a Fab shop around OC?
« on: February 21, 2012, 01:39:09 PM »
I work for a very large company that is constantly adding or modifying fixtures for our manufacturing process and I'm not happy with any of our current metal fab contractors.  I would love to hear of any fab shops out there that are dependable and can knock out some of our big job.

Random Boat Parts For Sale / AutoMeter Sport Comp "used"

Miscellaneous / Spam / EZ Load PWC loading system
« on: January 22, 2012, 05:51:36 PM »
I've had this system for a while now and used it to launch and load my old stand up ski.  The winch mounts to your bed or can probably be modified to be removable and the rollers are collapsable for storage.  This thing works pretty good and if you don't want to pull a trailer to the river this is the way to go. The standard SCJB offer is all I'm asking

Engine Mechanical / Electrical / Where is your battery mounted?
« on: November 23, 2011, 09:11:07 AM »
I picked up a clean set of logs last summer and it's time to do the swap, my only problem is now my battery is in the way since some clearances have changed.  I need some ideas on relocating my battery and installing a new mount.  I'm running a group 27 and was going to run it just outside the passenger side stringer near the transom, any thoughts or clean installs would be great.

Random Boat Parts For Sale / BBF Logs and Snails

Engines / Engine Parts For Sale / BBF Heads and Headers
« on: May 13, 2011, 08:00:03 AM »
I have an extra set of D0VE-C heads and a set of Bassett Headers that need to get out of my garage.  The heads need a once over and a good cleaning but seem to be in good shape.  The headers have been blued pretty good and the chrome is gone in most places, they could be good coated for a set of dry stacks. Was asking $50 for the headers and $100 for the heads, I have some pics I will post up later.  Let me know who's interested, trades can be considered.

Jet Pumps / Berk issue in rev.!!!!!
« on: April 24, 2011, 10:14:28 AM »
I recently rebuilt my Berkely 12JC-A and had it out for the first time yesterday.  It worked great in forward and neutral but when reversing the bucket there was a noticable RPM drop and it felt like the motor/pump was loading up pretty good.  Is this normal when in rev. or is there something going on that needs attention?

Engine Mechanical / Electrical / 1-wire or 3-wire??????
« on: April 14, 2011, 01:05:21 PM »
Ok guys I need some input on this, both of my alternators are junk(not surprising) and I need a new one.  I know there are marine and auto styles but it's a jet boat so I'm thinking of running a GM 1-wire and being done with it.  I have been reading about advantages and disadvantages between both styles, so what's your experiance or $.02?????

Engines / Engine Parts For Sale / BBF over the transom w/baffles
« on: March 07, 2011, 10:48:58 PM »
This is a set of Basset headers with baffles that I took off my old engine.  They are in rough shape, chrome is discolored and there is some rust build up on the usual spots.  They come with baffles(which could use a blasting) that insert into the ends, these would probably look good ceramic coated or for testing.  Make me an offer and try to keep it to local pick up due to the shipping size.  I will probably be at the races in a few weeks and can drop them off if anyone has a transport.
