Stay away from blowers unless you are going to run race gas. The added hp they offer is not worth the extra weight

I wish I could but not able. I do plan on going to season opener at the Bluewater. We would have to go early to beat the chop.

It has been a long time since I have done any racing. Had a great time today, thanks for holding this event. Great people and nice boats, see you all at the season opener in Parker.

If coming now in the off season, Parker or Laughlin would be fine but in the summer you would have to be South of Parker for a large group to be making passes, all else is just too busy. Big River, Lost Lake, Ahi Quin, Blyth are some good options. It is hard to put something like this together because someone will always not like your plan no matter what you do. Best to just make the call and stick with it, who ever likes your time and location great and just too bad for the others. A Doodle Pole could help,    https://doodle.com/    If at all possible I would like to attend.

If you guys do meet up & race, lets us all know! And of course, be smart and safe please!

Also, October 6th - 8th is the SCJB event at Big Bend... that's not too far from you Tim. You should come down, its a good time and nice stretch of the river!   8)

I was planning on going to this today but see a forecast of 25mph winds. Will make it another time

Speedwrenc & Bobjthomson, I would love to come down to Parker for a bit but not during rush hour traffic on a holiday weekend though. I would like to make a early morning or late evening run there maybe Monday the 9th?. Of the two (early morning or late evening) which do you prefer?

Brittney, I think I can make the Big Bend event on Friday the 6th. Thanks for the invite.  :)

Since there is no name at #10 I assume I can be 10 and call out #9 John. I will be in Blyth Sept. 22 and 23 and at Big Bend Oct. 6 - 8. Since I'm coming from Texas this is the best I can do to meet up with John. I hope we can make this happen. I think I understand the rules. If I don't qualify for some reason, no big deal. I just thought it would be fun.
I am not on the list but I will race if you are in the Havasu area.

Not able to make McIntyre. I can be on the parker Strip most weekdays after 6pm and weekends early or way late to avoid the traffic/chop. I live in Havasu so can also go north from there to Topock 66 or Pirates Den during the same timeframes. My # is 916-872-0145 and name is Tim.

The list aside, I would like to call out anyone who just wants to race. Maybe the Parker Strip area at a date and time where there is not a lot of people. Win or loose I just like to race and would like to get to know some of you as well.

. The season that we run the list is not a rule. The dates change each year but if you're hell bent on the rules you need to go back and read them. This is for fun rule number 1.  I have told you who number 9 on the list is and will do again one last time. James Bostick is number 9 you have to start a thread and call him out.  If you don't get it feel free to call me. 951 741-8790. Thanks

It seems you are getting a bit testy on the subject so I will drop it in favor of rule # 1

Sorry if you seem to be confused but if you go back and read the thread you can see we have followed the opening of the SoCal jet boats season.  We also end the first week of November and crown a champion at the SoCal release party.  Not sure the trouble here.  This weekend is the first event so Friday you can start calling out boats Brad was going to update the list.   Most of us don't boat Jan-Mar I hope this clears up any of your concerns.
There are a number of Top 10 threads, which one should I look in to find this policy? As I said before if we are going to make it part of the rules why not post it in the rules section? Keep it simple and easy to understand for all. Am I the only one that boats year round? But, if like you say that most members don't, OK.

Hmmmmm interesting.   Sounds like Master Sargent should automatically have the #9 spot to me. Being he made the call out months ago and the 2 week reply is long gone.  Master Sargent, may as well call out the next one on the list brother.

I would like to be a part of the list but not like that

Then make your call outs now. No one has a boat ready you can be number one in no time 💁🏼

BECKY WITH THE GOOD HAIR!

If you look back at this thread I made my call out back in January. If you are going to have a rule then put it in with the rules.

as of right now there is no racing. Won't get list started up again til April/may. Gives everyone enough time to do winter upgrades

BECKY WITH THE GOOD HAIR!

Reading the rules I do not see anything about a season or time frame people can be called out.

What do you think about a SoCal Jet Boat Top 10 List? It could be for jet boats that attend 2 events or more and have rules similar to the TV show "Street Outlaws". A lot of details would have to be figured out but it could be fun.

The BLM has first come first serve Campgrounds on the California side of Parker Strip a few miles up river (on the river) where the Blue Water Casino is for $5 per night.  Enough room for all. It is called "Crossroads"
