Brad, are the Sept. 28th and Oct. 5th dates still good? Trying to make a plan to attend....

Yes, those dates are still a go, but to clarify those aren't related to Horsepower Fest.

This past weekend was the 13th Annual Performance Regatta at the Aha Quinn Sand Bar in Blythe, California and it was a great turn out!

The weather held up all weekend with just a light breeze. Friday was awesome, a lot of people made it out.
Mike Dewey & Jay Erschen lined up, Mike Dewey with his 1976 Gullwing powered with a Bostick Racing Engine took 2 of the 3 races.

Gary Oliver lined up with August Duke Culver of Knuckles Up Racing. Gary had sucked up a bunch of weeds and they weren't able to line back up.

Dennis Capogni and Zach Rauscher were scheduled to race and it has been postponed. Rauscher was testing up at lost lake and ended up going for a swim (https://www.instagram.com/p/B09AerVBW1L/), thankfully he is ok however the motor was in bad shape. Hopefully we will see them back out there soon.

Saturday was badass. So many beautiful boats! We met some new people and were able to catch up with familiar faces we haven't seen in a bit. It is always so great to see everyone come together for a fun time and lend a hand if needed. It is awesome to have you all in this community and make it what it is!

There was several spontaneous races and amazing passes throughout the weekend and we took A LOT of video. We will be working on a re-cap video of all the races and all the amazing boats that were there.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the booth and came out!  It was a fun filled weekend,
Thank you to the guys that lent a hand helping load and unload, we appreciate it!!

Lets see your photos from the weekend, post them up here in this thread!

Next up is the Long Beach Spring Boat Nationals this weekend August 17-18th and the Annual One Hot Summer Weekend Event at the Avi Resort & Casino on August 24th!

The No Wake Zone / Re: AVI parking, secure or not?
« on: July 15, 2019, 06:15:36 PM »
Its pretty secure. The Avi security has cameras in the parking lot and actively monitor it. Also they close/lock the gates from 10pm to 6am in the boat parking lot which is on the south side of the hotel. Especially on event weekends, there is a lot of like-minded jet boaters looking out for each other and keeping an eye on the lot.
