Engine Mechanical / Electrical / no oil pressure on gauge
« on: October 31, 2010, 10:34:50 PM »
ok so since it was a nice day yesterday i decided to uncover my boat and just let it run for a little bit... i made sure everything was ok, then started her up.. suprisingly it started right away... but i noticed on my oil pressure gauge that there was no pressure... the needle didnt move... now i know thats bad.... so i checked the oil level.. and it was good...

wat else can it be.. can the gauge be bad?? or something.... im happy i realized this now... since i got time to deal with it

Engine Mechanical / Electrical / vaulve covers
« on: October 21, 2010, 07:38:17 PM »

Engine Mechanical / Electrical / stringers
« on: October 19, 2010, 08:47:54 PM »
i dont know if i got the name right but im talking about the 2 rails in the hull of the boat that the motor sits on...

now i keep hearing that the stringers should go almost the lengh of the boat or somehting... is that tru??
if that is the case i have a question... uppon lookin more into my boat, my stringers go to my back seat and stop.. then i gues my seats are connected to a level area in the boat whcih sits higher then the hull..

is that ok or should i change the stringers or wat??? i see alot of boats with seats, place diverter levers, and foot peddles mounted to these.. soo wats up with that..

thanks  :sly:
