1976 Kona Makai
« on: October 26, 2011, 10:49:53 AM »
Looking to get rid of this project and start work on my miniday.

Ran fine around the middle of this season. Out at Blythe one weeknd the boat worked great on Friday but didnt want to start on Saturday. Found that the boat didnt want to fire under load, motor was flooding out. Put it back on the trailer and drove up to the house. Got the motor to start and noticed a bad almost grinding noise when i shut it off. Havent started it since as i got a bigger family boat. Ive had this on CL for 4 months now and have taken the price from 2500 to 1500. All ive had were offers for trades that i did not want. I am now needing cash not trade.

1500 as is. 17'6" Kona Makai, Trailer, Interior (5/10) 460 ford needs work, Rewarder TT's, Mallory Distributor, Holley 800, Manual place diverter, Berkeley 12jc, Newer Gauges, etc...

1000 for the haul, trailer and interior only

The headers seem to be the only thing of interest for a few. Dont want to part with them unless some only wants the motor.
