... I'd love to put a Dominator intake in it too (as this one needs a lot of work)...

Why?

Yea, why ? Is it a better intake or does it just fit the shape of the hull better?  ???

Why?

lol ...partly due to how nice it is to install a brand new intake vs chipping and grinding and heliarcing and old one...however the Dom performance intake is premachined for a ride plate and shoe too Tom

Propless thats the intake I would want for you as well ..

;D  Going through some junk in one of my mother's sheds (she nor my dad ever through anything away)  I found some old "8" track tapes and a stereo with a player in it.  I wonder if I could capture them to the PC and then burn a CD?

HD - I remember those too!!  Don't have any of those though.  I've also got about 5 stacks of  18" tall of 33 1/3 LP albums with nothing to play them on.  Found a couple of old 78's too.  No 45's!   :-[

Since we've already hijacked this thread and Greg mentioned LPs, I gotta tell you I have 2 LP box set  of the 1964 Winternationals and I think the 1965 Winternationals. I havent heard them in years but kept them as they are so damn cool (in a corny way). There's even some audio of the Freight Train twin engined dragster and one of my hero, Ronnie Sox running in Superstock.

Shit, now I wish I still hand a damn phonograph so I could dig those out and play them. I know my kids have never heard them.....

Tom - Now that was VERY HIGH TECH and still hard to beat for setting the correct speed.  Maybe I should see if I can find an old 8 track player and put it in that big hole in my dash.  Now that would be cool.

Last time we were at costco they had a turntable for sale that turned your lps into a file of some kind on a computer for about 100 bucks. It just pluged into the back of the computer then I'm guessing that you could burn a cd from it? I didn't get one but should have I also have a few big stacks of old albums and 45s.

As long as were talkin ancient electronics, I always wanted to hook an NES up to an LCD monitor in my silverado, always made me laugh thinkin about an 8 bit system playn on a hi res screen and mono sound through 2000 watts, but I never got around to it.  I'll still put my NES up aganst those PS(whatever the hell the number is this month). now back to the tahiti

Tom, if you haven't already torn the pump down, could you measure the clearance at the front of the impeller? Curious to know how loose those were from the factory. Pic seems to indicate a pretty wide gap.

I didn't quite have a feeler gauge that big... So I made one. ;D -Josh

Josh, take that NES crap back home. I remember Jan and I standing outside the Pennys downtown in the rain/snow just before Xmas (pre-mall era) to get this double throwdown, blow-ur-skirt up new thing called ATARI.
It came with a game called Pong! I ruled with that.  Of course, that was the last game I could make work. We now have Xbox and Jan and the kids got me NASCAR. All I can do is crash and take everybody out......... ;D
