Thanks guys! I'm stoked to see it in almost one piece. Should be a running boat in a couple weeks.

Making the most of my angle grinder and HF drill press. It ain't much, but it's honest work!

I decided I wanted the ignition box on the other side of the engine and also wanted to move the oil filter forward from its location on my original bracket. So, I remade them. Just need to polish them.

The HOA put a stop to me working on the boat at home pretty quick. I got a spot at Daytona Storage in Perris. They're pretty cool about me working on the boats and the units have power.

That's an hoa for you.

But it works both ways.

I don't have to listen to somebody grinding away at something, either, if I'm in an hoa.

No, I don't live in an hoa.

Pick your battles.

Unfortunately, that's where I live currently. No street parking either. Where I lived prior I had two projects sitting in front of the house for months and no one cared.

Ultimately, it's better that I got myself a little shop space. More room, everything is inside, and I can work on it any time of the day and night. The other day I was over there until 3:30am making noise.

Here's a look at the fuel tank selector, fuel water separator, and remote oil filter mount.

I used two existing holes in the stringer to mount everything. I hate drilling additional holes in a boat so I made the most of the two already there. I'm happy with the setup. It's clean, accessible, and will make servicing the filters easy.

Getting close! Down to the finishing touches.

The interior still needs a little love, but at this angle it looks good.

Thank you. I just took these couple close ups. I'm going to bring it by the house at some point. I'll swing by your place.

I had to remove the engine to install the pump because it's such tight quarters. While the engine was out I put a different battery box in and loomed up the wiring with braided mesh sleeving.  Now, the pump is installed and the engine is back in for the last time.

Disclaimer: I didn't pull the engine with the plate attached to the intake.
