Well after finishing the final major milestone of this project, I figured now would be a good time to throw up some pictures of my progress so far. Here's my 1976 Rogers Bonneville TR that I've had for about 6 years and I've finally had the time and funds to give it the proper treatment she deserves.

The fun part started when the primer went down and I could start to see a major transformation already

Thank you all for the kind words. Weíve been putting in serious work trying to get this thing finished before it gets too hot to work on. Hoping to have it polished and put back together by next weekend.
As far as power goes, Iím just putting the old 454 back in it. Maybe next year when my pockets arenít hurting from the paint job Iíll put a little extra work in the motor, build it to a 468 and rebuild the pump. Or if I play my cards right, in a couple years Iíll enter the forbidden world of LS. There was a twin turbo LS powered Kona at LS fest that got the gears turning in my head. Good thing those gears drowned out the sound of my wallet screaming🤪

A quick update on this build. Got the motor and seats back in and got it re rigged and almost ready to go. I still need to get the lettering done and put the new valve covers on. Aside from that, just a few more small things I still need to button up, and sheís ready for her maiden voyage.
