Charger Project AKA General Lee
« on: November 07, 2011, 03:38:16 PM »
Ok guy's this is my first project boat that I am taking head on. This weekend kicked off the start of my May dead line for the boat to be done and heading to Lost Lake CA. Lets just begin by saying that this weekend would not of been the best to start this build but I got a wild hair and decided rain or shine this was getting done. I started with a rolling cart that I transfered bungs onto to allow the boat to fit in my garage. I borrowed the Mini Excavator from work to help with the heavy lifting. I removed the motor on Friday late night to remove some of the weight when it came time to transfer from the trailer to the cart. Sunday I started the task of transfreing the boat (With no help at the time) I got the boat rigged and ready to be moved when I relized there was no way I was going to be able to do it alone. So I called my cousin up to give me a hand. Here are pics of the process as I know you all like to see.

Very cool. I am in the middle of helping my buddy do up his charger right now. it is your boats twin. (would be identical but his has a ford). Good luck and get it done so you can make it to an unofficial gathering.

Mine was stiff when working it back and forth on the trailer.
Once I got it on the water and under power, it was amazing!
