made a trim out plate to clean up the transom around the pump. just have to counter sink the hole then off to polish. Yeh I know it's large but I wanted to cover the recess around the pump.

This sure is coming out nice.
So you used 2 layers of 1/8" ply on the floor ? My junk project had 1/4" that I have to replace, and 2 layers of 1/8" sure sounds like a better idea. That way I could stagger the joints like you did and it should end up stronger. I haven't seen it done like that before, nice idea !
